BEYOND will be removed in PoE 2???
I wouldn't mind seeing stuff like beyond and whatnot put on a rotation. The problem isn't so much that it's there, it's that it's all there. The game is becoming overwhelmed with stuff. That's why Legacy was such a great idea. You could add Beyond if you wanted, and leave it off if you didn't. I really hope to see that implemented at some point. They needed a small tweeking to how League Stones were used and stored, but it would really be great to have that be the control rather than someone at GGG making a unilateral decision for everone.

Every league gimmick has like 20 different possible leaguestone mods and then you need a place to store them oh hey let's crank out yet another stash tab Zana's got the right idea. 8 or so different gimmick options on rotation from a possible pool of dozens. I gather that beyonders are slightly different from other pinata mechanics in that you aren't on a timer. For some this difference is huge; e.g. if you're already on a different timer (delirium) and you step on a breach, welp not gonna hang around in the circle when there's arguably better rewards to be had by ignoring it and keep going. With beyonders you can just keep going AND the league mechanic will usually work as intended. (I don't know of many builds which manage to NOT kill mobs close together). I suppose all the invasion/breach/abyss/beyond/harbinger popup dorks could be merged into a single superfaction. This will simplify things for the newbie and yet keep the subtly different flavours of timer/non-timer adds for your amusement. "Some weirdos from Planet X are tearing a hole in the fabric of reality. They invade in different ways, but you'll know them when you see them because they're weird. Some are shapeshifters that look like normal dorks but then dissolve into cocoons that erupt into WEIRDOS. Another species tries to terraform the ground ahead of its landing but you can stomp on them as they emerge and the grass will eventually grow back. Then again, if you're too successful, the little blue mans will land with their saucers and all their little blue pets and fire their pew pew lazors at you. They are the overlords of the alien war fleet and have all the money. Good luck, stay sane, etc." In the same fashion they could smush all the ghosts and nemesis/bloodlines guys together. Since ghosts usually have a nemesis/bloodline type of mod they confer, just have it under the superheading "Possessed". All rogue exiles and warbands could be lumped under "Annoying gits" So your zana mods might look something like this after merging similar chaff content: Quant: Free Invaders from Planet X: 2c. Up to 3 different encounters, drawn from each of the following: Breach, beyond, abyss, harbies Possessed: 3c (this implies nemesis so yes you can use this one to chance your spacehunter or hunterhunter) Random Assholes: 3c (I'm feeling lucky option.) Specific assholes (rogue exiles, warbands, named characters) 3c Delirium 4c (this is not a mirror you just go in and you get free 1-2 deli orb experience) Wraeclast History 101 (1-3 legion monoliths scattered around the map) 8c Essences belong in there somewhere, not sure where, but they usually get ignored because essence crafting is subpar. Maybe with Possessed? Maybe lumped in with strongboxes for a separate category of stuff you surround with mines/traps/toxic pods and then run up and tip open. Great let's cut every league for PoE 2 start over fresh. Especially cut all the fiddly ones, and the timer ones. Incursion, legion, betrayal, abyss, breach, and delirium can get right out too.

Beyond is good for 2 things, density and even more for the worth of HH.

Everything in the game has to be balanced around double/triple beyond multipliers. If it's too annoying to balance it then it's better if they just remove it.
