BEYOND will be removed in PoE 2???

Dont even think about this, GGG.

You remove additional monsters from the game = you remove my fun, I remove your game from my disk drive. Simple as that.

who said that though?
There are several expansions/leagues worth of new stuff due before POE2 arrives, and POE2 itself will bring additions too; that's the version that would be altered, not the one we have today. Not much point worrying about it at this point.
I really hope some of the old league mechanics are gonna be removed in PoE2, cause the game is getting so bloated with this stuff it's kinda ridiculous.

And ofc people are gonna whine about every single one of them, but we really don't need 10 different versions of Breach. Get over it.

Bye bye :) Don't reinstall please!

I'm just wondering, do you feel like you're doing the game or the designers a favour by telling other players to leave and not return?

Or do you entirely lack any self-awareness and not realise how yuou look?

If you're going to remove something, Beyond would get my vote too. It's disruptive and adds next to nothing to the Lore. Harbingers can go too.
I don't see the problem of removing Beyond. I assume those 3-5 uniques will still be accessable trough div cards (as always), and even then it's questioanable whether they're even worth getting.

As mentioned by Chris: The Beyond mobs were just red bandits. They add nothing to the lore and hadn't any mechanic or loot that couldn't easily be replaced by other minions.

For PoE2, they want to remove as much clutter as possible to make room for new mechanics, mobs etc. So it's fairly save to assume there will be (league) mechanics that replace that mob density, if that's your concern.

Let's face it: Instead of the Beyond Zana map mod, you can just click on, like, any other map mod to add more mobs.
Really disappointed to find this out. Beyond is the closest there is to a perfect league mechanic where the only thing it does is improve gameplay with no downsides like timers or complications and understands that more enemies are its own reward (which subtly result in more experience and loot with the right amount of added challenge rather than relying on loot explosions to gain interest).

We need more Beyond clones instead of the bunch of Breach clones we keep getting especially if they're going to get rid of the original -- and if it has something like a timer or some other barrier to completion then it is not Beyond proper.
