Toronto Gateway - preliminary testing and feedback
" Fitzy, you've been on fire lately responding to these issues. Just wanted to say I appreciate you and give my thanks! |

I am in Northern Ontario, about 500 miles NW of Toronto.
ping to WASH is 37ms but this league has seen insane issues with bad instances that have 500 to 3000 ping. Creating a new instance solves that problem, but results in many wasted maps. Ping to new Toronto server is 50ms but very stable. Tracert shows a messed up routing... It goes to Sudbury, then 2 places in Toronto, then 3 places in Chicago, then 4 places in Toronto. My ISP is BELL fiber 400 Mbit service. Last edited by Qiox#1561 on Jul 7, 2020, 12:48:17 PM

I'm excited, about twice as close to Toronto than I am to DC.

I'm getting between 16-33ms on PC.
I hope this can be tried on console soon because yeah that DC server blows. |

I live in Northern Ontario (about 1300km) from Toronto. Ping is relatively close to Washington or Texas, so I don't know if its the placebo effect, but so far this feels much smoother. So a big thank you for being such an awesome company.

I live in Toronto, and I get the same/slightly worse ping than I do to DC server.
Thanks for your efforts! Hopefully this can be improved! WinMTR below

" Seems most everyone either in Toronto or outside Toronto is having the path go into Toronto, then head out and bounce around Chicago 3 times, before coming back to Toronto. Hopefully that can yoyo path can be straightened out. | |
I'm in Gatineau and I'm getting a steady 20-25ms ping with this new gateway. Great addition, thank you.
