This is the build i made up, i mostly only play witch class, and i was obsessed about a bow witch for quite some time, so when i got bored with my EK witch, i started to build it. Im lvl 68 on HC atm, farming/grinding merci City of Sarn. My thoughts about the journey so far: its a great trip. Downsides - DEX! This is the number 1 downside for the build, i pick up only 2 +30 nodes, im planning on using a thicket bow with some good ele dmg rolls, so i need more dex on gear. Best way to get it is to get yourself a Light Quiver with base +40 Dex, and more dex as a mod on it. You can end up with a quiver with about +80 Dex and +% ele dmg, life, res - i saw one on the trade chat, expensive like hell :P You need to get an ammy with + dex or + all stats. This 2 gear pieces can set you up fine, ofc you can always find other gear pieces with +dex on it. Other downsides are.... well, tbh i dont see any more of those. Is it gear dependant? Ofc. You need to stack dex, res, life, mana/es and regen, probably leech, attack speed on gloves is good, +% ele dmg etc. And other thing - getting 1 or 2 pieces of gear with insane ES to boost your mana pool greatly, is a bit hard to get. Im using Frenzy as main attack(4 charges, picked up 1 extra from Kraityn merc), Split Arrow for AoE (Im lvling Lightning Arrow in swap gear - i WAS using it, and using it it gives me quicker clear speed i think, and still can - its just the insanely IRRITATING effect of it and screen lag, + the SOUND of it, man... i refuse to use it atm, i hope they will work on it in the closer future and on the effects in general). Ive play 90% of the time solo, all bosses and quests etc. I only group when i grind/farm some zones, so you cant say im doing poorly and group hugging all the way up ;P ATM as for auras goes - i use standard Discipline, Clarity, Wrath, Anger, Grace(boosting my EVA to about 25/30%, its always good to have some evasion then have none, and its cheap on mana), Purity(to have the ele res boost i need, without it i have about 40% on all res, when i get more res on gear i will dump it for Haste), when my mana pool gets bigger and can afford it, i will add Determination to it. Heres my gear, if someone is interested (using the trick with reduced mana gem swapping when turning on auras), atm im looking for a Bow upgrade, thicket with 3 ele dmg rolls.
I planned on getting Lioneyes Paw boots and a Karui Ward necklace.
