3.11 - Stress-Free PoE! RF HAPPY: No Required Items! 1-Button Play! SSF League Start-End!
"Thanks Carusun! That means a lot. I appreciate it. Uniques specific to levelling? Anything that: - increases the number of Endurance charges you have - increases your life regen - increases your max fire resist The sooner RF is up, obviously, the better. That being said, I don't remember the names of them. I know there's a good amulet for levelling and a couple of different ring options. The Max fire resist shields I think are for later levels but there's some life regen shields that are normally pretty cheap for low levels. The only name I remember for levelling gear is Kaom's Path/Way, I forget which is the base version. So I'd check the list of unique Amulets, rings, and shields on the wiki for what I listed. Sorry, I don't pay attention to uniques. I only notice what drops. Feel free to ask whatever you like! Sorry, this answer was generic. And again, thanks for the thanks. Oh right! Cluster Jewel Notebales that I noticed on the wiki were Flow of Life and Molten One's Mark looked sexy. I'm sure there are many others but those really stood out quickly to me. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast Last edited by Wrecker_of_Days#7691 on Jun 21, 2020, 5:43:43 PM

"Hey TheDelta! I actually haven't levelled this version of my guide before because the ascendancy just changed this league and 3.11 isn't out for console yet. The older version of the build could have you sustaining RF without buttons in the mid 50's to level 60. But it was dependent on having both ascendancies done. The one where get 100% Fire Resist and the other where you get life regen per charge. With the listed suggestions in the guide, my guess is that you're really close to sustaining. Especially if you have Enduring Cry to give you charges for free. So ya, you're really close. You're really close to another .8% life regen on the tree too. Maybe level Immortal Call separately for now since it gets rid of Charges. I should put that in the levelling section. Does that help? https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

"Thanks for sharing Ashare! I'm really glad you're enjoying it and that you found the reward when the build started to take off. It's pretty fun to face the tank during campaign. Awesome job! Thanks for taking the time to be so kind. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

Hello,
Going with South tree first and now around level 35 and ready to move North. Just starting Act 4 and using Firestorm as a leveling gem before RF. My defenses are very tanky, but offence is painfully slow as there isn't much spell damage. It took 5-6 minutes to kill Dominus 1st-2nd Stage. It's extremely weak offense to this point. What's a better leveling option to use? Should I have I went North on skill tree first? |

Are you still going chieftain with the nerfs?

Call to Arms is definitely useful. I play with enduring cry on my left mouse click, so instant cast is a must. Though I could see wanting to avoid that if you play with the sound turned up. I am also considering picking the 4 nodes to Deep Breaths. Though that could be overkill once I have other/better sources of life regeneration.
Someone asked about good Uniques to grab cheap for leveling. Shaper's Seed and Springleaf come to mind early for their % life regeneration. Last edited by Domzors#1722 on Jun 22, 2020, 12:46:35 AM

" Thanks for the recommendations, I'm running RF now! Since I could waste most of my Sunday on playing I just kept going til I had the second Ascendacy plus the 5% reduction from major pantheon, I am running Vit instead of Malevolence for the moment but I guess I might not even really need it at this point. It really is a breeze although the dmg is a bit on the low side yet bc I had a ton of +% Spell Dmg on my gear which isn't useful anymore now, but I'm confident it will ramp up. Already dropped a +12% Vaal RF from one of the earliest Vaal areas so I guess that is the game's way of telling me to stick with this lol |

"Hey HotChARLes! Thanks for the honest post. The reason that I like going south on the tree first is that it's the fastest way to sustain RF as early as possible. The sooner RF can be sustained, the sooner you're playing the build you signed up for. By prioritizing levelling on the tree, you'll end up really slowing down the ability to sustain RF until really late. In other words, it's either slow now or slow later. League starting RF will take time for sure (that the design of the skill in a way...though I have no idea why they give it to you at level 16...) but I personally think getting all your life regen as fast as possible puts you in the position to use RF as soon as possible. Sorry, it's not enjoyable. If you stick with it, it gets really fun. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

"Hey Grundle4oreskin! I actually really liked the RF changes. In my podcast, my co-host brought up the great point that the Chieftain is the only ascendancy now with so many major nodes available directly from the centre of the tree. Only one major ascendancy node has a prerequisite. That gives the Chieftain a lot of power. For this specific build, the changes really benefited us. So you bet we're a Chieftain ;). https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

"Hey Domzors! Good advice! I'm really trying to consider a way to put in Call to Arms and still keep life up, damage up, and the tree at a max level of 91. I agree it's a "must". We'll have to see for 3.12. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast
