3.10.2 Patch with Beta of Vulkan Renderer

LOL.. Nope.. I can play waayyy more graphic intense games than this.... My specs are way above what it takes to play this game my silly friend:)
My Tests with
CPU: Intel i7 7700k (4Core/8threads) @ 4.50ghz
GPU: Gtx 1060 6gb
16gb of ram

DirectX11 in hideout: 200-220fps
CPU Usage: 90-100%
GPU Usage: 80-90%

Vulkan in hideout: 250-260fps (sometimes spikes above 300fps)
CPU Usage: 50-60%
GPU Usage: 90-100%

Entire game client crashes when I select Vulkan. Don't even get the chance to save. Happened 4 times with attempts in the morning and at night.
Hey ggg,

thanks for your hardwork on this, i for one have struggled on and on with lag for a very long time I played using Vulcan for around 2 hours and here is my feedback.

Response wise and fps the game is way faster
rendering and loading is quiet slow

Its a good start hope you can build this into a more reliable thing in the future.

I can't select a renderer. It's grayed out and defaulted to DirectX11.

Hardware Specs:

i7-7700K @ 4.2GHz
32GB DDR4 RAM
GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

I'm usually at 75FPS in my HO and running at 60ms Latency with around a 13ms Frame Time. All of my Detail Settings are on High with the exception of Shadow Quality, which is set to Low.

The only weird thing I see now is the Display is showing 2 GPU's. I only have one installed. It wasn't like that prior to the patch.
The Lab, making a great game good since 2016.
hi guys

is there any trick to enable it?
I cannot change it to anything else, only "DirectX11 (default)"
and it is disabled...

I dont like performance of DirectX
since GPU load is very high - %90+
and and my fans are spinning like crazy
and I do get spikes/freezes all the time...

i really hope my potato pc can load the game more smoothly after this ( i have i3 processor with 4 GB Ram ) lol
System Model GP62 2QE
System Type x64-based PC

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4210H CPU @ 2.90GHz, 2901 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date
Graphic Card GTX950M

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 16,0 GB

Personally I had been playing POE on quite low graphics since the start (5y ?) on this computer. Just by using Vulkan, the quality of details has been tremendously improved. It feels like a different game. I still have some little mags etc but I guess it is just a matter of solving a few issues.

Thanks a lot for having done this.

resolved by installing new NVDia Graphics Driver - GTX760
(or we can change on initial screen only - not in game, not sure)
I had 445.xx and installed 446.14 DCH
after restarting PoE Client, I could switch to Vulkan...

VULKAN

FPS - 40
B FPS - 25
1920x1080 Windowed FS

Vsync - On / Off
HO GPU Usage
standing 100% / 80%
moving 100% / 85% !!!

ok, confirmed...
we can only change driver on initial screen, before login/char selection...

DirectX11

FPS - 40
B FPS - 25
1920x1080 Windowed FS

Vsync - On / Off
HO GPU Usage
standing 92% / 76%
moving 98% / 82%

but my fans in this mode, spins like crazy, then stops then spins again fast
happening frequently...
