3.10.2 Patch with Beta of Vulkan Renderer



When I try to change my client to vulkan the game crashes and I have to restart it.

I have all my drivers up to date, and I can not find the rendered_type on my production file. I have this : DirectX= auto. (something like that).

Could you help me figure this out?

If that was the simple fix, it does not work for me. Even in log in screen options it is greyed out.

Ok, so with DX I get a SOLID 60fps @ 4k. NEVER drops below 60 nor goes above 60 and I am OK with that...with this new renderer, hi 7fps even in the pregame menus. It also crashed the game. Sys specs follow.

It's still takes a while to load assets when you enter the first map making some enemies/spells invisible, but at least now i don't instantly die if i'm not in a tanky build because of the fps crash that resulted from entering a map.

People entering or leaving my hideout cause to stutter for a second or two, that's gone now too.

Loading times seem slightly faster, but almost unnotiscable.

I don't usually make posts, but this time was a must. Gameplay improved massively and i felt the need to congratulate GGG on it.

Overall this is a quantum leap in performance. I can do most content again, and can mostly play my flicker character even. My only issues are weird graphics glitches and trouble with fullscreen windowed mode. I had my minimap translate over a bit so that I couldn't see the area I was exploring properly, and have had some glitchy shadows while Delving. I also can't see my trade companion and whenever I alt-tab or use the trade overlay it jumps about and sometimes shows a single frame from five minutes prior or a load screen.

Got improvement during critical time (mirrors, legion start etc) from 3fps+2sec lag to stable 20fps for 0,5sec? and goes back to 30+ and works great. thx

Can't change the renderer option to Vulkan. The option is grayed out.
I even tried forcing the game to run in Vulkan through the config file, but it would just change back automatically on launch. I am attempting to change the option on the main login screen too, NOT in-game.

I have the same problem too. When i try to change to Vulkan always crashes my game client.

Any Solution ?
