It's decent MSi gaming laptop and I'm sure that my intel AC9462 can use 5GHz wifi.
My powerplan is set to high performance, in advanced -> wifi settings - max performance.
In my network card settings i set:
Preferred band - 5GHz
Roaming aggressivness - lowest
Transmit power - highest
MIMO pover save mode - no SMPS
I have no idea what else can I do.
2.4GHz bottleneck is ~150mbps for all devices connected to wifi, so if any1 else watch netflix etc. my connection is limited and my ping spikes.
Did you find a solution for this issue?
I am encountering exactly the same issue like yours so I'm just wondering what you did to solve this.

Nah, sadly nothing work and I bought 30m RJ45 cable and I plug it in JUST for PoE.
It's retarded.

Like I said in my first post --> GGG DEV team has confirmed many times that their netcode is not made for WiFi / can't handle a WiFi connection.
So this is why you are being adviced to use a cable connection.
However if you are tech savey enough, get the right gear, find the right WiFi channel then you can properly get it to run pretty ok......

i have the same issue, if im connected to the 2ghz i can log in normally, if im connected to the same wifi but 5gz it wont connect to poe2
