* Leadership's Price amulet is extremely powerful, however, it is not recommended to be used until you can meet its requirements, which are that you have to have your Int and your Strength be exactly the same. Your int and strength do not match and as such the amulet is wasted for you.

if you can get your strength and int to match, then you will turn on the full power of the amulet. You will need some changes in your tree and in your gear to accomplish this.

The reason your damage dropped is that you changed your Incinerate support gems to match the power in Leadership Price but the amulet is not functioning for you based on what I said above.

I completed the simulacrum with 2 deaths. Very happy. Getting closer to my GG Leadership's Price. I am either going to get a +8 or a perfect +9.

Would we benefit from Phantasmal Infernal Cry?

The chance to cover on ash with hit sounds nice but it is listed under the "Combust" section of the gem so I don't know if we would benefit from it.

Don't think it will do anything for the build.
Since it's under the Combust section, it only works for attacks.

For the Wise Oak flask to work optimal do you have a fire res. at 82 (out of 83)? (I dont really understand the writing on the flask (uncapped-capped)).

Also: Since your taking much time to patiently answear all our questions anyway, you should maybe consider updating page 1 here. Yesterday I heard of another (like me) who started out the build going after equipments at page 1 and he were also confused that some of it is for a witch build and some for a templar. And I guess it wont be long before no new here knows that the build is actually at page 348.

Anyway, just a thought :)

* It is not my build so I can't update the first post.

However the very first line in the first post states this note (see below). Hopefully people are reading before they just dive in. The underlined is extremely important. You don't need to be on page 348 to get the latest builds.


*NOTE*
The gearing and skills in the guide below might not be 100% accurate anymore, but still contains a lot of useful information. For the most recent versions of the build, check the PoB's.


*My max 83 Fire res comes from the following:

75 base
2 Prismatic Skin (this has to be anointed, boots/amulet)
3 Leadership Price
1 Soul of Steel (this has to be anointed, boots/amulet)
1 Circle of Anguish Ring
1 Barbarism (from the tree)


* When talking about resistances, you need to look at two different numbers when dealing with Wise Oak.

Go to your character screen in game (press C), and then go to the defense tab. Scroll down and look for your elemental resistances

You will see something like the following:

Fire Resistance 80 (95)

The way you read these numbers is that the first number is your MAX fire res (also called your capped resistance). No matter how much fire res you put on gear and from the tree, your fire resistance will never be bigger than the first number.

The number in () is your uncapped resistance. This is simply the number that sums up every source of fire res you have (gear, tree etc). This is called your uncapped resistance which is almost always higher than your capped number.

The Wise Oak flask only looks at the uncapped numbers (the numbers in the () ). You want the number in the fire res () to be higher (or exactly the same) than the numbers in the () for lightning and cold to get the use out of Wise Oak.

Has anyone considered two-skills setup? incinerate for single-target, another skill for clear? I'm thinking fireball or rolling magma or something.

I do have that lovely ring, but I cant wear it and still maintain STR and INT equal. With all the STR nodes we have to take in the tree, it would just be too much. Furthermore it would have to replace either a +38 INT ring or my spell channeling ring with elemental resistances.

I guess its good to have something to save up to :)

And speaking of that: uncorruptet Aegis shield are now just over 2 ex (down from 6 ex 3 weeks ago).

I don't think I have seen any one try this. Assuming you would want to keep the shield in place you would probably need a rare helmet that can act as a pseudo 6 link unless you want to swap gems in the armor.

Last league one of our players in thread added Asenath's Gentle Touch gloves to the build to help clear of incinerate and liked it a lot.

If you try a second skill as a clear, let us know how it works out please.
