[3.13] 🔥Oro’s Flicker Strike Raider🔥 | Top tier mapper/currency farmer | 10M+ DPS | All Content

@Heinarc
- Thank you so much for your comprehensive guide!, especially for a newbie like me.
- I would like to ask about my case, I'm trying to craft a Helmet with 9% Fire Pen and % increased Flicker Strike Damage per Frenzy Charge, can I use Awakener's Orb to move the "9% Fire Pen" to a new Helmet ( has "% increased Flicker Strike Damage per Frenzy Charge" enchant, but item lv < 85). Ty!

Got a headhunter belt last night. Said screw it, bought 40ex worth of Ancient Orbs and got it on the 7th try lol.

That all being said... this belt is so completely broken... I don't know what GGG was thinking.
This build is amazing so far, thank you for sharing it!

Currently just leveling in red maps, working my way toward the cold conversion variant which i am so very excited about :D
Thanks for the support guys!

@GromphDyrr

You'll find plenty of advice browsing through the thread to ramp up that DPS. Most important one is to use 20/20gems, the correct gem set-up and the correct flasks.

Sirus is a bitch with this build on a low budget. Do it at A0 (unsocket all watchstones before opening portals) if required. Get a corrupted blood jewel and swap to cyclone for an easier fight.

Sirus awakener 8 is tough with anything less than the 30ex gear + a Bottled Faith IMO.

How does the survability feel with the slayer? Can you run 100% delirious T16s easily?

@fr0stm0urne0

Unfortunately, you needc i85 to roll the 9% fire pen. Getting the perfect enchanted base can be (very) expensive, but you do not necessarily need either a Lion Pelt (Silken Hood, Sinner Tricorne are good bases as well), or the perfect enchant. 6% dmg per frennzy or 40% flicker dmg are reasonable as well.

From there, the easiest crafting method is probably to warlord slam it and scour to get the right influence.
Then, throw at it a few essences of Greed/Spite until you get both a good life and a good Int roll (if you need it). 10-20 essences should be enough.

Then use Harvest / your bench to fill the 3 prefixes, and have any tier of fire resistance as a second suffix (you can resist-swap if needed). An augment fire on a suffix, while you already have fire res, will guarantee the 9% fire pen.

This is how I crafted this helmet :

I can now improve it with resist-swap and remove/add cold or lightning if I find some.

Survivability is actually more or less the same IMO. You can go overleech if you want to as well. You do lose about 20% ish more Evasion because you're not a Raider but you can keep your evasion around 60-70% or just lower it and instead of running Blood and Sand, run Arctic Armor instead.

That all said, I didn't really notice any differences in survivability between the two but what did bug me the most was that I moved significantly slower lmao. It's actually nice to move a little slower in boss fights because I keep overstepping as a Raider (Against A9 Sirus and stepping into bad stuff or the big balls lol). As a slayer, I didn't do that because I moved slower haha. More Control I guess.

As for T16 Delirium Maps at 100%, it was more or less the same. It's really more of a "Pick your poison" with the two classes. I've since gone back to Raider because I like being able to run around fast lol. But being Slayer was nice because you could also spec in Culling which was nice and overleech.
This is build great! But have problem on bosses on T10+ maps. I die often one two hits...How to increase survival rate?

you need something like
with recover life on kill. also, more damage = more survivability with flicker, so the added crit damage mod will help as well. a quartz flask for attack/spell dodge, and basalt flask for phys damage reduction (with curse or freeze/bleed removal on use) will help a lot with survivability. i recommend 'piano-flasking' and making it easy to continually spam your flasks. make sure you swap-in a ruthless gem instead of melee splash damage when fighting bosses. having life leech node or mod can help too. eventually you want to make an oro sword with fortify corrupted implicit mod so you can add a 7th link for more damage too. Heinarc's POB details all this info in the original post.

Made the switch to cold conversion today. I would say this is a budget version... My life, evasion, and sword still need some big upgrades, but i am enjoying it so far. I can run T14 maps without much of an issue, although some of the newer bosses will kill me sometimes. All in all i am enjoying it immensely, and will continue to invest into the build. I hope to be able to retire my carrion golems soon!

Why are we linking both ancesteral protector and vaal ancesteral warchief ? Wouldn't focusing on one be actually more beneficial ?
Kind of a dumb question, but how come nobody is suggesting starforge as a sword for physical/cold?
