3.10.1c Patch Notes Preview

It's in the nature of PoE that players try to find the most over-powered-build in the game. That's part of the fun. At least, if you have found it yourself.
There is always this battle between players finding the craziest interactions between zillions of mechainics and developers trying to consider every influence a change to the game can have and prevent it from being to powerfull. And that's a battle of david vs goliath, as there are far more players theorycrafting, than there are developers.
Mistakes are unavoidable, and we all should be fully understanding when something game-breaking has to be removed mid-league. Especially when it impacts the experience for other players (trade economy).

"Logic clearly dictates that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of
the few." - A well known vulcan ;)

Good job Exiles!
Awesome patch notes guys, maybe we can see some viable non-abusive builds now!

Suggestions for next triage patch:
-Nerf Kosis. Less ES when recharging and reduced slam damage would make this fight far more fun and engaging. Right now it's just a 1-shot party that is frustrating due to the healing mechanic.

-Fix high tier splinter drops.

-slightly reduce 100% delirious map monster life. This is causing most players to only run low tier maps. A 10-20% reduction would make a big difference.

Thanks for all the hard work :)

Herald abusers:
You had your fun. The build isn't broken now but it is more in line with other builds in the game. Stop crying about your build being nerfed to a non-immortal but still OP state. Get over it....

These changes have no impact on my build so I don't mind.

If you have the knowledge and time to farm mirrors and invest them into a build you'll definitely find a way to make it work and still be powerfull after the patch.

Unless you're making a living out of this game you have no reason to cry. It's just a game, move on. ^^

PS: stop writing "Sirius" instead of "Sirus" please.

Again:

The problem is not fixing a bug mid-league.

The problem is compromising trust and also exploiting herald MTX sales.

It is about making a statement and then betraying the people who actually trusted GGG's word. (Yes, a public word from Bex on issues is an official word from GGG.)

Those people lost their time (and most likely much RMT) investment of weeks. I am really sad to see many people and even laughing at that.

Are you ignoring that GGG?

I don't see why this is worse than any other abuse of previous super OP builds in the past. That is another discussion.

However, if you believe it warrants a roll-back of the people's progress then do a roll-back for all the people.

If you see this action absolutely necessary, GGG, then don't just punish those who trusted your word and invested in it.

If such an action is warranted then start the league over or do a full roll-back of about two weeks. We'll see what all those people react who are so easy to say to others: "It is just a game, why cry :P "

It would stir up emotions but at least it would be just for everyone.

Your own fault for being naive and thinking your gonna get away with abusing something that actually is breaking game mechanics, ofc they gonna fix it.
april joke notes :) nothing gets nerfed.

They literally told people to enjoy the build for the rest of the league. The only naive thing he did was believing GGG.
I came to borrow some salt.
Un-damn-real, GGG. It's amazing that you keep trying to save this by doing 50 things that don't work. Just remove the god damn timer and virtually all problems with this league mechanic vanish. Poof. Saves you time, resources, and frees you up to do/fix other things. But for some reason which is incomprehensible given the situation you insist on keeping it in. Well, thank you. Thanks so much.

Thanks for ruining the league for me. It has good promise, it was a good premise, but the execution couldn't have been worse. This isn't breach, so stop trying to have the same timer-mechanism behind it. This isn't a small circle, it's a whole damn map! It doesn't work!

Screw it, you won't listen anyway... See you in a few months. Hope Last Epoch learns from your mistakes. Maybe you will as well.

The issue is that herald-stacking was the single right answer to everything - no matter what you play, it would be better if you would do it combined with herald-stacking.

So if we go by your logic we should have nerfed HH ages ago? Every build is a better mapper if you slap a HH on it.

there's always gonna be builds that will perform better in certain situations. HH is a great build for mapping if you build around it and can use the auras, but it's totally useless for bossing.
On the other hand, herald stacking was overpowered for every single aspect of the game and that's problematic.
