Disappointed. I invested my currency into the build after they said they were leaving it be as an overpowered but sanctioned play. That seemed pretty unambiguous, so this feels a like a huge betrayal. What makes POE beautiful is discovering builds that are overpowered and fun to play. This mid-season change affects many people in a negative capacity, and the barrier to entry is literally a few hundred chaos and a pile of alterations, but to really make it shine, you need lots of ex investment. The markets responded appropriately and made the GG items expensive. HH trivialized lots of content with a single damn unique. How is this any different? This is extremely poor precedent, and mid-league heavy handed changes like this are going to be very negatively perceived. Get it together, GGG; you should be better than this. I knew with near certainty this was going to get nerfed, even after the comment to the contrary I still believed it would end up nerfed, so I avoided it. Easy peasy. For some, its a lesson learned. So not only am i stuck in my house during this pandemic, but you just killed the last week of my life stuck in this house investing in this build you said wouldnt get nerfed until next league. Pretty much everyone will be over this in 2 weeks. If you're not than you might want to reevaluate a bit. The build was broken and basically an exploit. I know what Bex said, but I had no doubts they would go back on their word once everyone started chasing the same build. There's tons of other OP builds out there (not nearly as gaming breaking) that are super fun (I'm playing a PS build that is super fun and can clear literally anything with ease, though a little rippy), you don't have to chase meta. That said - I feel bad for anyone who spent time and currency on the build, but this is the right decision by GGG whether anyone likes it or not.
