Delirium Challenge Rewards

Big yikes. The horns are the only decent reward this time around.

I think it's time you recruit, & hire people outside New Zealand. Obviously your ideas for these challenge rewards is super saturated, and reveals mostly crummy rewards each league in recent history.

The cloak seems neat in concept.
The horns with some smoke is kind of ok, however overdone with helm attachments in the past many leagues.
Two back attachments you can't obviously wear at the same time is clearly a mistake.

I would honestly pull out (fire) anyone that decided to approve these challenge rewards without considering how the majority of the player base would think. Any team that thinks the past few leagues of rewards was great is sorely out of touch. I get the idea to have multiple concepts of artwork to be brought up for approval, however as the community has seen the artwork to actual MTX in-game can be quite different.

If I was hired to handle these rewards I feel I would bring about vastly better rewards. How do I feel that I am this confident? I would poll the community as I have said the past few leagues. (You can check). Polls are so easy and cheap (free) that a basically a kindergartner can start one, and read the results. I would bring about MTX that would sing along the challenge league's main feel in a way that it should be done.

Clearly the challenge leagues have had too many portal effects lately, however to not do it this league is like how after watching the beautiful rainbow reflection in the delirium mirror?

Switching 1 of the back attachments, and the helm effect would have been a no brainer to me. I get the concept of the wings after seeing the delirium video rerun tons of times, however in-game its meh.

I would make it to where the challenge league rewards can give a full set of gear after a year of challenge leagues where you don't get multiples of 1 type over and over. Maybe twice if it really seems to partner with the theme of those leagues really well. Sure it may cut into some profit, however you have tons of support from the supporter packs that give new armour sets lately.

The mystery boxes too! Omg! Clown effects? I mean some of the ideas that have been brought into the game make me feel iffy.

GGG has released POE 2.0 information. Why not make the road to 2.0 glorious?

As Chris has said each league GGG is coming to the final touches of the challenge leagues earlier and earlier. Seems you could put some of that extra time into reviewing the challenge league rewards to make sure that if gives all a great feeling. I am almost 100% positive that if GGG brought out great rewards for a league the player retention would be higher.

I personally aim for 36 challenge completion mark each league as I play POE as a more or less relaxer in the evenings after work. I feel that those that play standard mainly would likely venture to play the challenge league over bypassing it altogether until it rolls into the core game. All the leagues have been in 1 way or another. As Chris said he will always "reuse" things in his video about maps, etc.

Again I get the aim for the rewards, however in actualization to me its a fail.

I really like the concept for this next league, and as I have read others state it is a let down once again on how the rewards could have been.

Great idea! Why not make an artwork event, and this time do it for whatever you decide the name of the next league will be. Throw some other names in the mix too maybe. Then poll the community on what gears are wanted most. Then the artwork event can be focused to those gears. If telling a name for the league is too much of a ball outta the bag idea in small tell us the color theme with some points to narrow the results to usable ideas for that league's rewards. This is like free money!

Well, time to get back to finish my last portions of this league's challenges before it ends.

people expecting the portal for free when you know they will cash the shit out of that portal just like masters portals.

I mean rewards are great, and they are free too but... these don't spark a glimpse of satisfaction for me. The cloak I see in this video looks to me as it was living its own live. It's just moving left and right as something was stick to the back rather than natural cloak float. I guess it needs some animation twicks or is it just me.AS someone suggested before I think the poll for what mtx are desired would be great to satisfy community needs. Kind regards.
