Changes to the Atlas of Worlds in Path of Exile: Delirium
I do feel similar to many here, even though i grinded a lot last league:
Removing "% chance for maps to drop one tier higher" and putting on a meaningless 5% gain of master missions is not increasing incentives but decreasing it. Master missions are okay, but 5% is meaningless. At half point in the league I had so many master missions that I wasnt able to run them any longer any way. Also: People chaining Promenade is the reality - not sure how many actually played their random map pool instead of bulk buying horizon orbs. What about those actually? Will they work as in 3.9 and you only have a natural map pool of 3 T16? Not super hyped about the map sustain nerf and and reducing incentives to do awakener bonus. (How good was that 23 modifier anyway for those who really chained maps? Drops from bosses and metamorph accounted for roughly 90% of the lootvalue of a map for me, so only the increased map drops were valueable for most of the map population). What the actual f**k!
" This is not a good change. Atlas missions are important early in Atlas progression, especially Zana, but I also like Alva and Niko to push Temple or Delve to help with map progression. You are reducing chance to get missions early because we will not have much Awakened bonus. This will in turn make it less frequent to get master missions that in turn slows our progress through Atlas. Duh! I'm now at 149/145 Atlas bonus and I honestly do not care about master missions. I have over 20 Zanas, 40+ from each other master. I run Zana from time to time and Einhar when I do not forget. I ignore everything else because it just slows me down. This proposed change is completely up-side-down to what is should be. |

" WHAT DOES THIS MEAN ? THIS IS SUPER IMPORTANT. I don't want to spend literally days ... again ... on figuring out how this system works, it was bugged for the whole month I played. I did mulitple 20-30 runs to get single influence. So what does this mean ? What is the % to get first spawn ? Is there some other mechanic/bug that will prevent us spawning other conquerors ? Can we spawn conqueror #1, do the chain and then spawn conq #2 in same region ? Can we chain same map in same region without some hidden penalty ? |

" By getting at least 40% less loot per hour and 40% less XP than people who did, and as a result getting totally locked out of the competitive aspects of the economy. Le Toucan Will Return

" Does this mean i'm gonna lose my awakening levels on standard too?! please say no! (1!!!11!!111) |

" Why taking away the only thing that encourages people to run maps with a horrendous layout (cells, dungeons) for the awakaning bonus and in the same step not giving us the option to shape the atlas, so that we can atleast somewhat control the mapdrops we want. Im not sure this is a good idea. Its already hard to sustain a good amount of high-end maps T15/T16, why pressing that amnount even more? I have to admit, i wasn't very happy with the new atlas mechanics, the watchstones grind pulled hard on my map sustain (please don't reset the watchstones on standard) but after you obtained lvl 8 awakaning, you could atleast only get red maps. That is a great way to keep people in the high end grind. |

Why?

Nerfing map tier drop bonus , still nothing to prevent us to do stupid layout maps, no information about orb of horizons. So what is there exactly planned from community feedback ?

The day you take "% chance for maps to drop one tier higher" away will be a very sad day!
I played POE in the beginning and left for 5 or more years. Came back this season and had actually fun playing it ... oh and for the first time i did spent some money and purchased in game features ... Not sure if i will stay for another season, if it gets harder for me as casual player with just a couple! hours a day to sustain Maps. Or you are forcing casual players to spent money to purchase currency to sustain maps, which could lead to not spending money at GGG and which of course is not allowed .. ??? I guess my takeaway of this is = nFa = no Fun allowed .... |

Great, love you GGG
