90+ leveling tips for those who die a lot

I was expecting "Just don't get hit" as the only content of the first post. I am slightly disappointed.
Sitting in HO spamming alts for 4 hours straight is peak PoE gameplay. Thanks, Chris.

Came to this thread with high hopes based on the headline, but besides the first two topics (which i read as: low tiers are bad but you have to do them anyway) my tldr of this thread is: go delve, because there are no MM inside.

Haha same here, entered this topic hoping to learn something new and useful...

Here's a protip for everyone, get better gear. The more top tier your gear is the easier it becomes to level in the high 90's.
what if lvl 97+ you get 2 more passives each level :O

Stack ES and pick up Zealots Oath. Pretty much immortal if you can get enough ES. This league I see a lot of builds going CI and stacking strength. Three uniques shaper's touch, geoffri's sanctuary, and Alberon's warpath then high es rare with strength rolls. It's why the strength jewels are so expensive this time around.

Careful here.

There is quite a bit of chaos damage bursts this league. If you are not CI, zealots can really leave you open to some nasty deaths.

Preface: the better options on this list require you to have friends. The best options require you to have friends with good gear. As in real life, better social skills => wealth and opportunities.

S-tier: 5-ways with friends

A-tier: leeching runs, harbies, breachstones, pj's, t15+ cowards trial with a full party

B-tier: doing pj's or cowards by yourself. Actually this is bad. You'll get decent xp compared to a normal map, but you've wasted all the map's explosive xp potential.

C-tier: delving including doing niko missions. I do believe you can do niko rotas as long as you have a mapset to contribute. They will be juiced, but if you're not a total waste of pixels, you can survive it.

Also C-tier: Alva. Yes, we all love to hate on her, f that gold-diggin tramp, but 15-18 extra monster packs per map does add up to some delicious xp.
Protip: Don't let temples sit and rot once you finish your 12. Go air that shit out ASAP! Not because the Omnitect is going to shit exalts into your stash. Because time's a-wastin' and you want to get started on your next 12 right away. (Do be a love and share the empty temple with the riff-raff to level up Alva's decoration level. It requires no effort and they will often tip you in vaal orbs.)

C-minus tier: Zana. She will occasionally give you breaches, harbies, beyonders, or unique maps that 1) give you more monsters to kill and 2) you can buy red maps from her afterwards to go contribute to Niko rotas. Even if you're squishy, she will usually offer one or more magic-only maps that still has extra packs of trash...and she will STILL sell you red maps afterwards.

Buying mods through the map device: If you need a push from 80% to the next level, this could be money well spent. Otherwise, that currency should be going towards 1) improving your gear and stats or 2) buying maps to participate in rotas/xp leech parties.

Shiet man so much writing and the answer is very simple - DONT GET ONE SHOOTED...

As for other things, what I noticed is that u need to have good movement speed to move fast through the map, so they cant target you fast enough before you kill them...

Another thing if you are melee a lot of attack speed... Thats the only thing, if you have less than ~7 attacks per second, you are pretty much dead everywhere starting at T9...
I followed a similar way to yours. I wanted to get to 93 to complete my build. From 91 to 93, I did a combination of carefully rolled T10-T13 maps . I had a lot of Zana dailies. So, with one map, you can run two full maps. I also saved all of my yellow and red map Neko dailies for really good rolled maps for highest return.

I skipped all of the metamorph encounters. I did not take any risks. I carefully watched for things like corroded blood, bleed and maims. I still died at around 80% to 93 but I was being careless.
