Explosive Arrow ignite damage delay AFTER explosion hit

Man, this really sucks. I just started crafting all of my gear for my EA character... in fact I have been following YOUR guide. Should I just abandon ship now? How likely is this bug to affect my character?

Its not really a problem, the damage is good enough to vaporize all content, but I want the damage I worked for. The guide has taken many many steps to ensure this bug occurs as late as possible.

I had this bug happen years ago where my ignite was doing too much dmg when I crit and it just ended up not doing any dmg at all

Thought they fixed it but I think you might be breaking the threshold of the ignite dmg cap, which is why lowering the dmg makes it work again

got a similar problem using elemental hit mines, can't ignite high life bosses like sirus or shaper(which means 25% less damage per hit in my case) even with more than 100% chance to ignite and crits. Don't have great ignite damage but the ailment itself should apply and that is more damage for hits.

Don't think that's the same issue. EA ignite is just too big, that resulting dot value overflows the integer variable.

There's no way in hell elemental hit can do the same. You should seek an issue somewhere else. If there is a bug, it's a different bug, and you should create another thread dedicated to your exact problem.

i'm 100% sure that the same overflow problem that affected explosive arrow affect others skills also and independant of the ignite damage itself(maybe use total life on their calculation?). only have that problem with high life level bosses (over 35M). will contact support or make a new thread anyway if that don't get fixed in 3.9.2c.


edit: could ignite shaper, need to test with sirus yet but seems that was the same overflow :)
