How would you make this with rng crafting?

you would get the base sure. maybe craft 3 white sockets on it with syndicate. what about the other 3? corruption maybe?

Then how about getting all of the stats? how many tries with exalts would it take? how many would it take per mod? how many imprints would it take to rewind the piece when any one of those mods inevitabily gets borked.

Im looking at standard right now for things that are kinda like this piece.

they cost a mirror minimum.

mine cost me 3 exalted orbs and 3 days of casual harvest crafting.

And I did NOT get lucky. my first 4 chaos crafts were the worst tier
my first 3 cold crafts were not above 20 res
I even fucked up horribly and accidentally added 3 life mods one of which was the horrific life regen suffix.

This cost me like 8 or 9 crafts and STILL this only took me 3 days to make. for just 3 exalted orbs of investment.

It baffles me how you can think harvest crafting is even on the same planet at rng crafting.

Infact one of the most frustrating things is when you encounter something harvest cannot deal with and you realize how astronomically shit rng crafting is

There are items in harvest right now that you would not be able to make if you sunk 10 mirrors of currency into them.. they cost 20 - 30 exa


anyway, back on topic, they just need to make sirius more readable. vary the color pallet a bit more than just red brown and black. Maybe speed up the storms so they get out of the way faster and i think the boss would be much better.

Hell if they do only one thing if they just make his character model contrast more with the arena we would be miles a head of where we are.

Yes, getting the 6 white link is definitely something only likely with harvest, generally speaking though, you will never need more than 2 or 3 anyway.

With that out of the way, 3 ex and 3 days of casual farming. I very much doubt on casual unless you're telling me you spend like 2 hours a day playing and even then I still very much doubt it was a case of just doing a douzen so maps, not really paying attention, not really caring about anything at all.

And even assuming it wasn't casual at all, that you spent several hours playing and got it in 3 days + the 3ex (BTW, do you know the average player probably makes an EX a week? That's not even casual, that's simply an average player), you still got INCREDIBLY lucky. The sheer amount of luck is indescribable. And yeah, you can craft something like that on RNG crafting, in fact you can do much better than that. That's not to say it is a bad piece, quite the contrary, it's pretty good. But don't even think for a second that it is normal to craft that in 3 days. It's not. It's normal to craft that after months and months of farming for the average player.

Funny how that coincides with how long it would take to normally craft that with just currency and the crafting bench.

Also, has it ever occured to you that some people don't go after challenges? Some people might actually try to enjoy a game rather than run after challenges that do nothing for them, even more so when said person might not even like the MTXs on offer?

You get 9 challenges basically from beating Kitava and doing like 3 maps, so yes, your challenges matter if you're going to discuss how Harvest crafting affects the game.

Then perhaps all the other challenges require more than, I dunno, having fun? I went all the way up to tier 9 maps before I called it quits and I did quite a bit of harvest. sure I didn't do tier 2 seeds cause it takes a long time to get enough tier 2 seeds to do a full t2 crop. Again it is still garbage.

Here is about Sirus BS.

Of course some people like this fight... They insta-phase and insta-kill last phase so no offscreen beam.

This league I could finally get a lot more DPS and defenses so I can survive 3 of 6 ticks from the beam and kill him before he does a second one.

But so Catarina and all other bosses can be done the same way... Just require less.

Seens they balance the boss fights based on mirror tier gear and if you are not a streamer or a 24/7 players to get hundreds of mirrors end game bossing is not for you.
