INSANE memory leak since the last patch (3.9.0e)

Given the number of thread sand the number of comments in them, I wonder what percent of the the games's user base has been affected.

It certainly looks like all/most of the Win 7 players plus some Win 10.

fix that sh!t plz, cant play like that
I'm able to do regular mapping in spite of the massive leak due to having 16 Gb of RAM, but it's clearly worse than ever and stuff like Legions or anything that crowds the screen is a recipe for playing Path of PowerPoint. No way am I touching anything dangerous or using characters that require fine control until this is sorted.

(but remember - PoE has no memory leaks!)
Still not fixed.
same issue here, plz fix GGG
Even after the last patch the problem still remains, after 30 min the game become unplayable, drops to 2 fps and have to restart it. :( Btw, Merry Chrismast to all the GGG team and my fellow exiles.

Since latest patch 12/23/19 my Windows 7 system still experiencing same issues as previous: lags, game crash, etc. Per user recommendations I upgrade my video drivers which helped a little; and also changed the game networking mode to Predictive, which seemed to help for a while but eventually maps with large packs caused slowdowns. Oddly enough, the last slowdown started when I open the passive tree window. Game stopped responding and my system slowed to a crawl. All I could do was use task manager to kill game. You're getting closer GGG but still not quite there yet. Don't give up!
its fuckiung joke!!!!!!!!!!!!! 5 days no fixed this problem!!!! but added new mtx! TY GGG!!!!!
I was hoping that the latest patch with the shader issue would fix the ram issue but I think it actually got worse.
