GGG messed up the game compatibility w/ Windows 7 bigtime.

Its not just win 7 dude, Im using win 10 have same issue. After 1gb patch its EVEN WORSE.

I have the same fps problems scince yesterday. Only talking to a mester in the hideout causes short pfs breakdowns to 2-3 fps. Doing maps is impossiple due to fps breakdowns to <1 fps in every fight.
Before sunday i have never had any problems with it. The fps have been stable at 60. i'm running the game on windows 10, i7-8750H, geforce gtx 1060, 16 gb ram, ssd would be great to get some info form ggg about the status of fixing this issues |

Same problem, ugh, why is that issue not fixed yet ? Like, we can't play that game anymore ... that should be top 1 priority guys ...

So not wanting to sit and wait for another patch to fix this issue I decided to use the Free upgrade to windows 10 from my current windows 7 via the Media tool from Microsoft and after it finished I can play normally. Not an IDEAL solution at all but It did fix the memory leak issues windows 7 was having for me.

First of all ITS NOT JUST WIN 7, SHIT TONS OF PEOPLE WITH WIN 10 HAVE FPS DROPS AND STUTTERS TOO. Secondly, its not just memory leak its the whole game being broken right now. No problem until like act 6 or something but after that point its unstable. If I can run latest games at high settings with no stutter at all, if I used to play poe without stutter before that 3.9 then it has no doubt something to do with the game, not freaking OS.

" I have also seen people report the same or similar issue for win10, but for me, upgrading from win7 to win10 completely fixed the issue. I agree with the above poster that it is by no means an ideal solution, but it fixes the specific memory leak issue I was having. Game runs great for me now. |

It´s not the best "chris"tmas present that the game will not work :(

I gave up and downgraded to win 10. Now the game uses <2gb of ram. It's a shame I had let go of a better OS for this.
