It should be roughly 6,5% of people I think. Feels like it's more but maybe people are just really vocal about it, I mean 1/20 is pretty unlucky...

Poe 2.0 is looking good but somehow they managed to leave a sour taste for me, just beacuse of those drops. It's not like I don't buy mtx and trying to get a freebie. Twitch chat was spamming about drops all the time, it took away from the experience not just for those unlucky people and I think GGG really set it up poorly. I get that there was no mathematical promise here, but if on average you can get a drop after like 5 hours then after the entire weekend you should be able to get one, right? Right?

Well no, if you roll critical failure.

Just my subjective view - I totally realize complaining about bad luck is childish but still... I just feel salty.

On a sideone - I started to buy mtx after I got "freebies" from league rewardsw or maybe it was a fanart competition. As a collection thing. Untill that point I usually cringed at people walking around in 100$ worth of pixels.

It's not necessarily a bad thing marketing-wise to give some out for free, GGG. You should have made it so that if you watch a certain amout the chances increase period. If you get a drop, your chance resets back.
You would get less discrepancy this way, would smooth it out and people would walk away thinking about your actual 2.0 game and not obsessing about an imaginary hat that they didnt get.

I didn't get anything... And still ignore if the issue is resolved, sad GGG is not communicating with us, hope at least they will tell us when all the rewards are given. I already waited 16 hours during the stream I don't want to wait few days more and expect to get something for being patient, and not getting anything at all !

So sad tho the event was nearly perfect, sad that something makes me sad after such a weekend !

this event with drops is a vivid illustration of how our world works. Everyone has the same chance, but at the same time ~90% have ABSOLUTELY nothing, the rest ~10% have absolutely everything.
Just accept the fact that it always has been and always will be.
One everything, the other nothing.

I am quite confident that GGG will post an official statement about it, and explain what happened. Unlike many other companies, they have a pretty good rep of communicating to the fans and address negative feedback.

Sure... they have good rep and communicate with fans, just check console section.

They are definitely doing more the most companies, imho, but their game is full of bugs, sure. But I'm not talking about fixing bugs in the game.

There is a huge pile of anecdotal "evidence" and wrong information posted over the weekend, and they have absolutely no reason to address this after all the dust has settled. We'll se, but PR seems to be important to Chris.

In any case, I'm back to playing, and I will not spend more time reading about Twitch drops. I mainly tuned in for the announcements.

Yep, i got it about 15-16 mins before posting it. I get notification here, on 'messages' up left. I also get another message 28 mins AFTER post (also info in messages here). 1st time i got dark swarm, then red eyes.
