They didn't failed to deliver what was promised. It took 1 or 2 days to deliver Nekros Prime to everyone, but whole thing was designed and communicated a lot better than this GGG event.
Why? Because they made Nekros Prime drop guaranteed for only 30 minutes of watching time. That was a "Thank you" for watching TennoCon, not buggy shady gambling. They also kept us updated on all stages so even if you didn't get rewards right away, you knew what's going on and when the script was complete. Not GGG "we have back log, you may or may not get reward in the end. If you don't - well bad luck kiddo"..
