Really unfair some people are getting 5+ drops while other get nothing... Yes, these are old mtx and nothing to kill for, but would be nice to see for once we're all a part of a community instead of having first and second grade citizens.

Especially after seeing people who got multiple drops come here and spit on the ones who got nothing, I really thought poe community is more mature than that, instead we have a bunch of kids coming laughing "I got my ice cream and you didn't, nyah nyah nyah" and ironically calling the other ones "entitled crybabies", people who benefitted from this unfair distribution should really stay silent and not embarrass themselves.

How can they claim there were only 12k eligible accounts, when viewership was in 60-100k numbers and according to the stats link there were 40k+ followers alone on the first day, you'd think 70% of them somehow didn't link their account? Or watch poe but don't play it? Makes zero sense.

I got only 1 drop on Friday a few hours in after two full days and I was actually expecting 0 drops with my usual luck.

And it does make sense. A few of my friends watched the stream as well but didn't link their account up because they don't care for the drops or was not aware of the drops. And they never check forums or Reddit either. They just play the game. I am not speaking for the majority or minority but a lot of players don't bother with posting or checking forums or Reddit.

So I wouldn't be surprised if only 12k are actually eligible. I watched a few Twitch drop events in the past on my SmartTV anonymously, not logged in. Some people just don't care, not aware of the drop event, or did not check their account on Path of Exile website because it does not show on Twitch App. I didn't even know I had drops until I checked the website which led me to this thread.

It is probably bugged, that one guy got multiple drops within minutes. Maybe there is a backlog/delay of drops. Maybe there is a bug being viewed on PC browser, mobile app, desktop app or SmartTV or maybe it's working as intended. There are a lot of variables.

Seriously no one knows until GGG/Twitch officially provide a statement and

Every five minutes of view time you'll have a 1.5% chance to receive one of the prizes which means it would take an average of 5.5 hours of view time to receive a Twitch Drop reward.

On average it takes 5.5 hours, it is not guaranteed after 5.5 hours. You can watch for 100 hours and still not get anything. You can watch for the first minute and get one.

Edit:

We've been having a backlog with giving away the Twitch Drops rewards. If you have won a prize, it will be given to you very soon! Thanks for your patience!

Hey there,

Thanks for contacting Support.

I'm truly sorry to hear that you're having some bad luck with your Twitch Drops! We have spoken to the relevant team members regarding this and it appears that Twitch Drops are currently working correctly.

If your accounts are correctly linked then I'm afraid this appears to simply be a bad case of RNG, unfortunately. There is no separate drop rate chance for particular users, everyone is working with the same base drop rate.

For more information on the Twitch Drops for Exilecon, you can read our announcement here: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2676838

If there's anything else we can assist you with feel free to contact us again.

less than 1% chance to get nothing at all if you watched the whole event
Duplicates are possible is a bad idea.
If a person takes 15 rewards, the chance is 0.1%. Not 1.5%.

ExileCon awesome.
This event is very bad.

I Never Support Grinding Gear Games again - due to the Twitch Drop Scam of Exilecon 2019
day one 8hours + day two 7 hours but this day is x2 = 22 hours total ...she say - ''Average of 5.5 hours of view time to receive a Twitch Drop reward'' 22 ÷ 5.5 = 4 ... if I'm unlucky I should at least have 1 no? but 0 is more than bad luck, it's just impossible...
