NO!
Quote from the guide: "At the time you get to maps, or early on in white maps you should look to transition into a CI build. For that you will need better ES rares and to ditch the life rolls on your gear. The gearing itself is straightforward however as you just want high ES scores and res. Having around 3k ES should suffice at the start of the transaction and last you until you finish white maps.
One thing to keep in mind here though is that your goal is to switch over to LL as quickly as possible, we wont stay in this stage for long, so try not to waste a ton of currency here micromanaging your upgrades."
The problem is that when you follow this advice, the build becomes unplayable.
Second quote: "Having around 3k ES should suffice at the start of the transaction and last you until you finish white maps."
According to the author, 3k es should be enough until the end of the white maps, which is especially funny that in this setup, white mobs on a t1 card will one-shot you.
We add here systematic errors in the names of skills throughout the guide and conclude that the author is not entirely competent in matters related to this build and poe in general. It's a shame that I wasted time on this build.
Except it isn’t unplayable at all. I’ve recorded 4 league starts doing just that, 2 have been done deathless in HC. It works.
I think you are missing the point. This guide isn't really great for less experienced players, particularly those that lack familiarity with the mine playstyle or struggle to generate currency.
If you are good at these things, then fair enough. You can probably run through maps with 1k life or whatever ES and quickly farm enough currency to buy shavs and transform into an absolute powerhouse. But a less experienced player that is still getting used to the playstyle running into maps with mediocre EHP and no defensive layers is just going to be a train wreck - and this seems to be where players are getting stuck.
Personally, I don't see any reason not to league-start as a life-based miner w/phase acro. You get plenty of respec points from the acts, and by the time you can afford to switch to LL or CI you will have enough regrets to allow you to fully respec.
I struggle to see what ‘afford’ CI gearing means if you compare it to life builds. You can pick up 5-6k ES for less than 20c when you get to maps. On the life build you would be sitting at 3.5k with phase acro for a similar budget.

When I've played the build the first time (in Harvest) since it was my first miner, I've read the guide and some of the comments on how to play a miner, realizing that once you'll get used to play the build you can run it without any real issues, because most of the mob will die before they can reach you.when you'll get the gloves you'll mitigate a lot of damage).
Damage is not a problem, but your defense layers are, so you have to understand that even with the gloves and the huge quality of life they'll give you, you won't be able to facetank anything, but you have to keep moving, use flasks and spam mines.
That's how the build works.
And no, a build that in order to works require at least 2/3 "expensive" uniques, is not beginner friendly, but I didn't see anybody stating that in the build before.
Tower is a white map. Shavs card is a pretty common drop. You can farm one in a few dedicated hours of mapping if you really want and think that it’s faster than farming raw currency. Nothing else is expensive.
Aside from that, I’ve done plenty of A8 sirus kills on the CI build, it isn’t like it’s hard or expensive to get a crap ton of ES for cheap.
It’s also stated at the very top of the build which uniques you will use, and how economy can affect their prices.

Guys just get shavs, shavs will solve everything, yet here i am with shavs and it just feels so weak it's not even funny. No possible comparison to 3.10 tremor + kaoms or 3.12 mom scion. I gave it some time expecting to notice a huge difference with shavs and prism but it feels pretty much the same as it felt with the potato gear i was using before so idk really.
Your flasks are a mess, as is most of your jewelry. Aura gems are level 8.
That's fair and i am aware of both those things. The flasks is just lazyness the jewelry it's because the market option are that great, excluding the amulet obviously.
At the same time, i was expecting to start struggling with my current gear on high red tier maps instead of dying stupid amounts of times on t5s like it's currently happening. Maybe the expectations just aren't realistic but i can't lie and say i didn't expect to feel a lot stronger by now.
Are you using Vaal disciple off cooldown? That helps quite a bit. You should also be able to pick up 1-2k more ES for very cheap.

LOL. 20c for 5-6k es and will be 0% resists. Try to play this league on your build, funny man. I had to be respec in the build phase acro and life according to the advice from the discussion, because your build has become unplayable since the transition to CI.

Gear is significantly cheaper this league than it ever has been before.
Check the CI gearing section, all of that is possible sans the 6 link for incredibly cheap. Hell that was SSF gear by the end of white maps.
If you dont know how to search for gear, asking for advice rather than complaining is the way to go.

Boots with 150+ ES - Sin Trek or Doryanis are great budget options here.
Quote from your build. Doryani's Delusion price is almost 7ex right now.

Are you out of your mind?
You realize that gear changes price league to league right?
Sin Trek is a few C for a decent roll. Doryanis are expensive because of the elementalist builds using them, last league they were 20c by the end of week 1.
Prices for 5-6k ES on CI:
1-3C each for decent rings and amulet.
5C 450ES body armor.
3C Sin Trek.
1-2c ES + Res Belt
1C 240ES helm
1-5C per weapon + shield. Hell, you can get a 300ES shield for 5c.
Total budget? 30c or less - that setup is more than 6k ES btw and will carry you until mid red maps w/o issue.
