Nice write up. Just FYI though, t1 light to spells should be better than a temple mod for most folks, t1 spell damage is also better(way more rare though).
Assuming you can either fracture the +1 light gems or t1 added light to spells you should be good to go. I’ve been working o a few, but lost the 33% gamble 6-7 times now.
Interesting, when I was testing different combinations of wand mods on PoB, I lost dps with T1 lightning to spells. I wonder where the disparity comes from. I will have to check with T1 spell damage, but I could've sworn it was worse.
But yea, if you are going for T1 lightning to spells, I agree on fracturing either of the two lightning mods instead of the crit mods.
The reason against fracturing for T1 to all spell skills was because it was far cheaper to gamble on a common suffix than something that took 1.8k alts on average to hit once.
EDIT: Ran the wand combos through PoB again, you're correct, T1 spell damage is indeed better, but lightning to spells is worse. I also changed the write-up to reflect this.

Hmm that’s odd, the t0 roll from essences outperforms for me. Also, while it is more rare, the topoanate (spelling) one is better than the spell/chaos one.
Remember that pob doesn’t factor in pen correctly and overvalues the chaos damage.

Interesting, what would be the workaround for pen? But even then, I doubt that it's so significant that I lose around 60k avg hit per mine.
Hey, firstly I'd like to say u big thanks for ur guide and videos, u did great work.
And here what I made using Crusader orb and Harvest Craft
I'd definitely get rid of HP regen, but with Crusader orb I got this T1 Lightning increased damage, which looks good as I play BL mines. In ur opinion should I keep it or try to get something better?

More or less you need to add additional resists for mobs, but if it’s 60k difference is probably won’t affect much. I would still wager that the other temple mod is better though - although like I said, I haven’t seen too many for sale and have been trying to snap them up.

Actually that belt is insane assuming you have STR and aspect of the spider somewhere else. You can remove the regen for sure. Could also try for increased ED recovery on it which would be great as well.
@Fyrenti (or others ^^)
How do you lock a specific fracture mod, like spell damage for the wand ?
I skipped Synthesis league, so know pretty much nothing about fracture items.

Oh man, I completely forgot about the hybrid % and flat damage temple mod. You are completely correct in that case. Looking at my PoB, it's about 12k avg hit. I'd go from 1.163m to 1.175m per mine. I'll change the write-up to reflect this then.
Edit: Found and bought a base for 50c. I guess the best way to do this is to imprint, then non-lightning to lightning and hope by some miracle it hits +1? Then block suffixes and play the game of getting +1 to spells, preferably before the average 667 times through caster add/removes.
