I think this is a cherry picked, narrowly focused, and needlessly negative view of PoE. None of it is necessarily untrue, but we just saw a talent competition come and go that was both fun and social. Bex and content creators that do PoB, PoE skill tree, and podcasts get jerked off all the time about how great they are. And they are great, but it's just to give another example of the confluence of the social and the positive. Lots of people are in guilds large and small, and, this time of the season, plotting what they will be playing in the next league with their mates in discord. To focus on what Charan focused on in the quoted paragraph is disappointing, but lends some credence to the opinion offered earlier by someone that there are some sour grapes to be had here. |
