You should. I don't know if the current $30 price tag will change on Thursday or if my pre-release buy gets me the new material for free, or if I will need to pony up for more to get the new content.

If my pre-release buy doesn't get me the new content, I will be suitably pissed off.
If you already own the game, you get everything. The price increase is only for new buyers. That's not even a little bit uncommon for games coming out of Early Access.
I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German.
Who am I supposed to discuss DAoC with now? :(
Highest Character: Level 92 86% Block/Static Strike Champion - Abyss League
I get bored of the grind around 90, probably won't ever get a higher character.

Well that depends on if you were a filthy hib or a dirty alb!

Midgard 4 life!
I found Charan again guys! - https://old.reddit.com/r/Wolcen/comments/f9jgor/dear_wolcen_devs_this_is_what_good_communication/fissf6u/

Edit:- Okay tbh, I didn't. Some other folks on the PoE Reddit happened to link his take in a Bex appreciation thread.

The best thing you can do with Wolcen (till they fix the most broken stuff in 2 months) is read the reddit or the steam forums. Really entertaining.
Masterpiece of 3.16 lore
"A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body."

Only usable with Ethanol Flasks

My advice on that matter is 'if you have a 500 dollar annual video game budget and like arpg's, you should get Wolcen. If your budget is lower than that, or you're iffy on the genre, skip it until you hear better things about it.

PoE lives and dies on the activity of its community being not just gamers but social creatures. To me this is sometimes unhealthy -- ARPG gamers can be antisocial at times. We obsess over details; we are argumentative; we like to do things 'our way'. Combine that with some frustratingly oblique systems that demand you use a third-party wiki, strangely mechanical terminology that occasionally defies common English meaning ('more' is not the same as 'increased'?), a terrible trade system that deeply encourages 'scamming', and a fiercely competitive 'league' structure...and in PoE you have everything you need to create an incredibly volatile, self-destructive community. A community players will see if not necessarily interact with when they google for help with skills, builds, items, etc. When they trade. And...maybe some ARPG players just don't want to have to deal with that?

From the steam post linked earlier. I think this is a cherry picked, narrowly focused, and needlessly negative view of PoE. None of it is necessarily untrue, but we just saw a talent competition come and go that was both fun and social. Bex and content creators that do PoB, PoE skill tree, and podcasts get jerked off all the time about how great they are. And they are great, but it's just to give another example of the confluence of the social and the positive. Lots of people are in guilds large and small, and, this time of the season, plotting what they will be playing in the next league with their mates in discord.

To focus on what Charan focused on in the quoted paragraph is disappointing, but lends some credence to the opinion offered earlier by someone that there are some sour grapes to be had here.
How is this thread still a thing? Charan is back guys.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

It’s worth $0 to me given the current state is just a continuation of the sorry mismanagement that has plagued this game since forever. As much as I gripe about how GGG appears to ignore QoL improvements to PAID currency, fragment and to an extent map tabs, they at least get the big picture right.

"Back"? Not really. I doubt he will ever be fully "back". At most he's temporarily commenting in off-topic for now. Heck, he even switched from his custom avatar to the portal one.

I still stand by my signature. This forum truly IS a worse place without him.
I make dumb builds, therefore I am.

Exactly this. I roll my eyes when people use some alt acc activities in irrelevant forum sections to decry my use of “goodbye”.
