Goodbye Charan

I like his sword, it s a proper unique item.
I just wanna type something here cause I saw so many pages and I felt I was missing something big, don't wanna be alone with my beasts. :D
So, wheter or not Charan will come back here with us:
goodbye Charan and thanks for Oni, I still love it even if after slayer leech nerf I stopped using cause I m lazy and my 3.9k life cant sustain also its dot.

DarthSki44, since my english is really poor, I like reading you and I really liked reading Charan for the same reason, but I must say that the sentence you got as signature is unlikely to belong to Lincoln, it s most certainly a bad attribution.

The saddest of sads.

So very very sads.

Yeds, very sads indeeds.
I think of this as a social experiment.

"can we make other people feel nostalgic and sad based on a false premise"

In that sense, i am engaged with this thread and it's actors, nothing more really.
You asked for my reasons and i gave them. It's really not a massive undertaking to post in between a map, if i told you i made that previous post in roughly two minutes while loading up another map would that satisfy you as to my commitment to this thread?

As far as the assertion that Charans post history scrub was an agreement with GGG, it was not if i take what he told me in good-faith. And if i wanted to know more, i would send him a PM, but i'm not really interested, he can do as he pleases and that should be respected.

Onwards to another map!

Peace,

Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
I concur with Boem. He is still reading posts here but just not publicly responding. Whether that is an agreement with him and GGG is his own business and is a private matter. He probably had a combination of reasons that added up to "the straw that broke the camels back" reason to quit, as in too many problems with GGG's direction they are taking PoE. Destroying the 6L weapon and chest chase come PoE 4.0, his running afoul of GGG etiquette, maybe burnout from speed/power creep (too much racing through in 2 weeks every 3 months), etc. Whatever the total reasons are it's his right to do so if he feels he's been betrayed or shafted by GGG. After all his time in PoE and financial support this had to be a painful decision to make. Either that or he is completely fed up with the playing state of PoE and doesn't give a rat's ass anymore (I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take this any longer).
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

You appear to be unhealthily obsessed with Charan. You claim otherwise, but your behavior heavily contradicts your words.

I don't mind being wrong, but just sayin'. A man's actions speak louder than his words.

My thoughts exactly
Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!
Saaaaaaad Woooooorld.

1) pointing out the absurdity of this thread
2) responding to people who question that view
3) troll the active trolls by copying their behavior even more obvious and bluntly

Your making those actions about Charan, while i don't particularly see a connection there.

Spoiler
shit i responded to your post, obviously another sneaky way to show my infatuation with Charan, because thats how logic works. . .

And if you don't mind, why bring it up or post at all, it's a non sequitor.

So it appears to me Charan has scrubbed his account and presence in this forum.

I will miss his wits and intelligence in this forums. And for his take of POE lore and perspective of how POE/GGG had evolved over the years.

Goodbye Charan. So long and thanks for all the fish.

My issue with this thread has nothing to do with how charan behaved or who he is.

I don't have to like/dislike charan to point out the premise of this thread is false and easily disproven.

Or to point out how antithetical it is for "charan fans" to ignore his wishes to become a lurking participant of the forums and keep promoting his presence.

Peace,

Charan has scrubbed his posts and presence from the forum, and many of us do not have or desire a PM level relationship with other forumites. So the premise of this thread is not false, he is essentially gone for many of us. I, for one, will miss his posts and humor, especially the Goddess Sword recipe thread. His arguments with other overly righteous forumites, not so much.

The only upside might be the irony of a thread about Charan, that he nevers posts in, being longer than his actual threads.
