Technically 57 is the correct amount of pages on a RIP Charan thread, with a buffer of 15 or so more pages for Farystar bumps assuming Slovenia lasts through the winter.

Boem definitely wins the award for the largest quantity of obsessive troll posts. At least one or two per thread page. But guess what? He's not actually obsessed with Charan (appearances notwithstanding)!

It's fairly simple though, if people wanna bump this thread with hollow statements then i should be able to do the same.

And if you read my first post in this thread and take it seriously, then you would know i don't care about this whole ordeal because the premise is a farce.

It's like making a thread that water is red and then bumping it to make it appear relevant. If the premise is flawed then everything that follows is nonsensical.

I already disproved the argument presented in the OP in my initials posts, everything thats left now is just having fun in here with people taking the OP seriously.

I would post a PM i received from "The_Scourge" a week or so ago but i wont since that isn't very palatable as a course of action.
If he wants to be a lurker and not participate directly then that should be his choice and people should respect that as a mater of courtesy.

Charan chose a specific course of action due to circumstances that played out with GGG, and can now lurk or participate however he feels is appropriate.

It makes no difference to me, but certainly we can agree that some forum relationships were formed over the years, and people can express that in any way they feel like with regards to Charan.

Like it or not, interact with him or not, I think it would be hard to say that the PoE forums were not impacted all by his presence over the last 7+ years , and consequently by his absence.

What that actually "means" could be different to those that knew him, compared to those that dont even know who we are talking about.

What exactly do you think i disputed of what you just wrote?

As far as the flex, somebody already posted a pm by the scourge earlier in the thread and it was taken down by the moderators.
And i think it's distastefull to post private content in a public sphere, that stands irrelevant of the fact that he is still active in pm's on the forums which was the point i was making.

My issue with this thread has nothing to do with how charan behaved or who he is.

I don't have to like/dislike charan to point out the premise of this thread is false and easily disproven.

Or to point out how antithetical it is for "charan fans" to ignore his wishes to become a lurking participant of the forums and keep promoting his presence.

These are just basic observations, irrelevant if people want to present them as biased.

It actually doesn't matter why a thread got started or how trollish or disingenuous the OP was. For the most part people said what they wanted to say and that was it.

In point of fact that's how the majority of threads go. OP posts something, and then its like a fucked up game of telephone that winds up being something else entirely as each poster contributes.

In short you give too much credit to the OP, and fail to just take these 58 pages for what it is...a collection of well wishes, not so well wishes, trolls, ignorance of the topic, and curious bumps.

I'm not sure how you disentancle the two when we have a bunch of people saying farewell to charan and the thread being titled "goodbye charan" while charan is actively reading this thread, utilizing the PM function to still converse and was playing the game actively at the creation point of this thread.

It's weird all around as far as i look at it.

If people want to interpret that as "hating on Charan" or being biased against him, thats fine by me, doesn't make it any less weird objectively speaking.

As for the bumping and continuing, i just find joy in the hypocrisy of farystar and impeacher, apparently they love charan so much that they can ignore his wishes completely and square that in their mind as "being respectfull".
Which is fascinating in the same way a train-wreck takes the focus of people passing by, i just tend to pass by GD quite a bit while doing other stuff.

This thread has been "fun and games" for roughly 40 pages with a solid few pages of content based on a false premise. Which is humorous in its own macabre way.

And since i know Charan is still reading this and using PM's, it's easy for me to assume he hasn't pm'd farystar and impeacher to ask them to quit bumping this thread needlessly on his behalf, which speaks to his motives as far as i am concerned.

Yes but you completely gloss over the reason for the absence in the first place. It doesn't take a detective to understand this "departure" wasnt 100% voluntary, and the resulting scrub was an agreement with GGG.

I don't want to go to deep in the woods here, but the PM's under his alt account is about all he can do to remain in contact (with anyone he chooses), to the point of if and when he is willing and/or able to return in a more visable fashion.

So no, Charan isnt dead. Yes, he is allowed to read since GGG didnt revoke his eyeballs.

I'm surprised you even care this much what the other forum goers do at this point, especially the ones you mentioned. If they would provide commentary on what they thought of you, how much stock would you put into it?

Take that answer, and apply it to yourself.
