We felt it was important to post this before the weekend so that you know that the concern has been heard

Blighted Map Instance Server Performance

Please dont describe the problems on the server side. In Legion League, the Legion didnt slow down as much as in the Blight League! The problem is not server side.

Have you checked how works 'Multithreading' function after 3.8? I wrote about it here -> https://ru.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2641404#p22390664
Thanks for the insight
So you saying that game engine is well optimized, but you try to add new gameplay expiriense and this is more than engine can handle, and quick fix not something you can do.
I can understand that, but it realy bad with some clear-speed-meta things like Legion, when I need to wait till some monsters are loaded, it is like 3-5 seconds, after that I have to deside whitch side is better, and left like 5 seconds for killing stuff.

Could you please allow us to lower the texture quality (much lower then allowed in game menu) via editing the config.ini file again? It was removed after dx9 client was "retired", i wish it was an option for current an only dx client.
Looks like my (and many others) decision to sit this league out, turned out to be a good decision.

What a mess. Sorry to those of you playing the season are having such issues.

I hope 3.9 get back to more arpg fundamentals, and they can then focus on these other necessary improvements.

And this ladies and gentleman is a reason why EVERY SINGLE TOWER DEFENCE GAME IN THE UNIVERSE HAVE WAVES. We told you the moment you announced Blight, that it will be a massive clusterfuck, but you didn't listen. And look where we are now.

All you need to do is set amount of mobs per wave with 10-20 seconds pause and option to skip pause, that's all. Suddenly most of the performance problems are gone.

Yes, a thousand times. Games like Defense Grid throw hordes of enemies at the player, too, but in waves, making them manageable for the machine that has to render them. Should apply to servers just the same.
You just know they messed up hard when Chris himself comes out to make another damage control post
Lol
thanks for the update and clear communication. good luck on the fixes!
So, in light of this post I removed and re-installed an older version of my GPU drivers: 417.35
With these older drivers I am still getting the reboot issue since last week's update.

My game runs 100% fine until the entire system reboots. This seems to really just come down to messed up coding on GGG's part. Since it worked great the week before that update(last week thursday/friday). Meaning my system was working in blight already!

Please please please fix this ASAP.

everything is much simpler. There are no problems now. I play from a weak laptop. but in the last seconds timer there are a lot of monsters, and they are DDoS server. ping grows and fps starts to fall 1000%
