Simply misleading. New players should stay away from this. It's clearly atrocious to level with. The bosses hit like like a truck and with the amount of aoe on screen, your minions will die faster than you can summon.

this build practically plays itself. You barely have to think and you can easily get to maps without a single unique or any trading. If you need something easier than this I don’t know what to tell you...

I started a minion build and went up to 72. For now I quit the game. Its not that the build is bad but the expansion is horrible. No innovation at all - make a fog - put it over a map and yay - thats it. Ohh and than you have already a complicated tree for new people - so - whats the best thing to do - make it more complicated.

Regarding the build. Till 36 or so its feels terrible. Minions got nerved and die all over the place. Once you get 2 slave driver specters on a 4 link the minion build starts to work. Minions dont die anymore and you do pretty nice dps. Buuut - the league is so rippy and on top of that the took out all our tankiness so pretty much you die over and over again without even know what happened to you since delirium encounters are ... I didn't get into zombies yet fully since I didn't have the items or currency but I don't think the leach from baron will make any difference since most things are one or 2 shots.

In my opinion atm its a terrible expansion without any new ideas. Loot drops are underwhelming at least and if you don't have time to play at least 6 to 10 hours a day - well - don't even try. With this rippiness of the game and without having super knowledge of the game and plenty of time to play the game is crap currently. They are catering to streamers atm but we will see how long they can do it without losing their main audience.

Yo, I wanna know which ascendancies are you guys rolling. I was planning to go for commander of darkness, mindless aggression, bone barrier and finally unnatural strength. However, I'm conflicted between commander of darkness and mistress of sacrifice.

how did u replace your cyclone with?

i dropped impale support by picking up Rotten Claws, this cluster jewel also has the crit notable for minions. Should be pretty interesting, 230% crit multi with kingmaker, and im pretty sure the notable stacks with itself? Crit zombies op? If you can get enough sources of multi, it might even be worth using Increased Critical Strikes support to replace that Impale? Just daydreaming here.

I am making good progress in between though, farmed my polymath cards and got really lucky on my astramentis, a +97 roll.

Got a Baron, Belly of the Beast, and Femur of Saints going etc.

do you guys are using bone barrier? i think commander of darkness is mandatory for resistances and now i think about some mistress of sacrafice + ?bone offering? combo but i dont know if thats better than bone barrier, pls help :(

First time poster here, decided to pick up this particular build for the league start, having never played summons before. Guess that makes me less biased towards "OPness" of the build :)


For all of the people saying build suck: I beg to differ. Got to maps with <10 deaths on day 1, using basic 3 skills:

- srs - minion dmg - melee splash
- skellies - minion dmg - melee splash
- zombie - minion life - minion damage

threw in spectres nearing the end of campaing (just carnage chieftains, they died too much at first)


Currently progressing the atlas with whatever basic gear I was able to get so far, not even res capped, yet still got 7 watchstones already.

However, once I got to maps the deaths log started to fill more and more (49 deaths at lvl 85 as of the moment of writing), mostly because of lacking resistances, but also because delirium mobs hit hard AF once it's past 3 reward stack.


Build is simple to get going if You're willing to spend just a moment to think ahead what You're doing instead of simply smashing head against the wall, then cry for being weak, lol.


My personal progress after ~22h of /played time, gearwise:

setting up the "budget" POB version, not respeccing death attunement yet. 4l femur + random 5l skellies armor is enough to be able to farm currency for the other gear pieces. Already got astramentis and a nice rolled geofri's chest in stash, saving currency for necessary resistances gear shuffle.

So, for all of You lurking around here thinking if this build is capable of doing stuff this league: it certainly is, even for non summoner player!

How is this build doing in endgame now? Are spiders better? Golems?
