Could you guys also please look into the jumping monsters, the magic ones but especially the one unique boss. The magic jumping monsters because they avoid the towers AND melee damage due to being in the air a long time. Basically free-running towards the pump. As they are not slowed down by tower mechanics. So if you do not catch them right away, it is a guaranteed fail.
And the unique jumping boss because he is in the air soo much it is impossible to attack/kill him. Especially on a melee character which also has to dodge his jump, and walk back to attack before he jumps again. Which is basically impossible with how fast after landing he jumps again. Thanks. |

Unfortunately the blight in map encounters reward/time invested ratio is really terrible, even on red maps. Armour and Weapon chests basically drop nothing good at all. The average of other drops is also bad (also due to oils having almost no worth in the economy unlike splinters did in legion), and the spikes are completely missing (for me at least). Sure, I found one Exalted so far from the encounters but aside from that I had not a single drop that was above like 5c, while in legion you would get some nice uniques, chests, rings, incubators, quality gems, etc as spikes from time to time.
Understandable if you do not want to inflate the economy like in legion, but the mechanic is definately not rewarding enough for the fixed time you need to spend on it. Adding to that, it feels very frustrating to beat 95% of the encounter just to loose to a strange unique boss and get 20% of the rewards at best. found a bug where blight monster dont die when using sweep skill and got knock back out of the way, video is too large to upload tho

While you're at it, fix it so you don't proc your prophecies in the blighted maps.

After doing several blighted maps, here are my current biggest issues:
Some monsters ignore everything in their path and rush the blight core. Not sure if this is intended or not, but it makes it so you can't step away from the core for 1 second because they will just walk around your minion towers and instant destroy the core. These monsters also seem to have very little effect on them from the CC towers. Some portals spawn within melee range of the core and have a very short path to it. Not sure what the point of this is at all. Towers are generally underwhelming. While some ridiculous build could do the encounter without towers, the opposite is not true. No amount of tower building will make up for a low dps build like righteous fire. You managed to stick another huge clearspeed requirement on a freaking tower defense mode, which is just impressive as hell how much you hate defensive builds. It would be nice if I could actually make enough towers to at least defend one half of the core for a significant length of time so I can go put more towers on the other half. Tower upgrades are sidegrades at level 4. Why is this a thing? Level 4 towers should be their current level 4 versions, plus an enhanced version of the current level 3 towers at the same time. Why should my meteor tower now have a huge weakness against packs of monsters or my chill tower do literally nothing for seconds at a time? Building on the previous two issues, the enchantments from the rings are SUPER underwhelming generally. I haven't tried the multiple exalt ones (lol wtf) but imo they are specific to a single tower. For example, if I have a minion tower level 1, but my enchant is for a level 4 type minion, that tower has no extra benefit until it is level 4. This of course, makes the chill effect for the pre-level 4 towers the best, since most smaller blight encounters don't last long enough for multiple lvl 4 towers. Enchantments should apply to a tower category (minion, lightning, fire, etc.) not literally a specific stage of that tower. Out of all the blighted maps I have done I have gotten the following oils from any source on those maps:

I have also gotten only 1~2 maps per blighted map and almost 0 other items of value. Overall, the mechanic is very underwhelming with loot. Unique blight monsters or monsters with special abilities like being able to bypass all mechanics or self destruct are very hard to see in the mash of monsters. At least the unique monsters should have a separate icon on the map. The minimap only shows blighted lanes that are within a certain range of the player's location. This means every time the lady announces another lane, the player has to run back near the blight core to see if a lane branched out in the opposite direction or near the core. One cannot simply run around near the currently spawned portals if they are far from the core and make towers and kill the monsters without constantly running back to check on the core every time a new lane spawns. Once there are multiple lanes spawns from multiple directions, there isn't an opportunity for many builds to move anywhere but the blight core. This means any towers outside of the screen centered around the blight core can't be upgraded. Blighted maps seem to be fairly rare as well, and Cassia made it seem like maybe there is a source for the blight somewhere. Maybe there is a unique map with a final encounter or something that is so rare literally nobody has gotten one? Overall the blight mechanic itself is fun, new, and interesting. If only there was some sort of testing that could have been done, you know.. that basically assured..quality, that could have foreseen such issues. Look I get that scheduling doesnt really allow for that.. but maybe adjust the scheduling for it. My friend is constantly on the day 1 league hypetrain. I tell her I am on the hype train for month 1 when most of the issues are resolved. It just seems like every league has the subtitle "we'll fix it in post!"
