Great build man. Been leveling with spellslinger and just finally managed to buy a martyr and 6 link it myself. Build feels great and is super fun. I allocated MoM to sustain better but now my cyclone seems to stutter and im not able to cast it continously due to the mana issue. Any ideas on how to solve this issue?
I have 231 unerserved mana with zealotry and hoa up.

Drop Zealotry and get some mana regen on rings. Praxis unique would also solve mana woes.

can also try anointing Battle Rouse: Azure - Verdant - Sepia

Hey there, i've been using this build since towards the end of last season and using it again this new season and was wondering if you could update the guide on page 1 (like socketed gems on which items) as i'm still new and just trying to follow. i've noticed there are some notes in the latest postings but would just like to request if you don't mind updating it here as well?

please and thank you - love this build btw! huge fan!

Yeah, I'll review the gem links section and make some tweaks for sure. Thanks for bringing it up. Also, when in doubt check my character and ask me if you have a question.

For example:

I added Blade Blast as a CWDT spell because it Unnerves (unnerved enemies take 10% increased spell damage) on hit.

There's a lot of variations that you can use depending on your needs. Like, if you have a curse on hit ring or gloves you won't need a curse in your CWDT setup. If you're sustain life no problem you don't need the stone golem, etc...

If you're not on Corpse Pact yet then CWDT - Unearth - GMP is helpful in making more corpses for VD to consume as it will proc more than once per CWDT proc.

Hope this helps!

Edit:
Added a new video with my current progress. T13 map.

@Gryphenprey

Can you tell how much Damage we have to heal per second to outheal the damage from scolds bridle?

Is it around 1k, 1.5k or 2k?

Just asking because i already try to plan the "optimal" endgame setup for me.
This might be a stupid question but It's been in my head for a few days.
¿Is it really better damage the cyclone+cwc compared to the spellslinger build?
I know they are different builds but since we are using the latter to level...

Thks in advance!
Been having a hard time making this build work with sustain but now that i got it to work decently it feels great, can do t15's without bigger problems and conquerors with 4 awekener aswell, my gear is not the best even. But outside combat between packs it drains alot which results in suicides if not carefull.
Things that i think helps me to sustain is Atziri's promise and Holy relic in a cwdt setup for some extra regen.

Damage, mobility, and defense. Yes. I more or less doubles my tooltip when I swapped from:

to

Also the CWDT links provide a lot of DPS via Culling Strike, Unnerve (blade blast), Fire Exposure -25% res, and 100% increased crit (purifying flame conc ground). Bone offering going off on its own (not having to cast every few seconds) is a huge boost as well.

And the constant motion of cyclone really helps keep you alive in delirium encounters.

Spellslinger has its purpose. It is a fantastic method for leveling this build right through white maps.

Holy Relic is not a bad idea actually. Just gotta hit stuff for it to trigger the regen. I have life leech, but it's currently being converted to ES becuase of Ghost Reaver. I haven't tried testing my sustain without reaver, but I think I will as my ES sustain seems to out do my life sustain lately.
I'm contemplating switching to this build for my 2nd char. I don't understand one thing: is spellslinger only for levelling the build? When do you stop using it?

Yeah I just used it for leveling the build as all the required uniques to make it work have a higher level requirement. That said I stuck with it until 81 when I had filled out the core of the tree and saved up enough currency to buy the stuff I needed.

I would suggest staying with spellslinger until mid 70's up to about 80. It really depends on what budget you're going into the build with though.

Like if you have enough exalts to start with an ES on hit watcher's eye and a GLorious Vanity - Doryani then a lot of the "this method helps sustain Scold's" stuff is irrelevant.
