3.8| Stress Free PoE - SLOW-MO ZOMBIES |Clear the Atlas with YOUR Items at YOUR Pace (SSF & Co-op)

Thanks! Pretty happy with my build atm. Minutes ago went back to Aul and castrated him without issue. I wonder what my build was like last time I tried him. I'm at 1150 life regen (I think) now so I think that greatly helped.

Count me in for a ranged totem ballista scion ranger whatever build next league. Sounds inviting.

Zombie on!
Ha! I did it! I finally hit level 80 and am now fully ascended with my awesome slow-mo-zombie-witch. 1st try uber lab and I smashed it all by myself. HA! Feelin' mighty now. xD I love how well this build still works even though I didn't adapt it for 3.8 and am still playing the 3.5 version. Great work with this build! Still one of my all-time favorites!
Has anyone tried this build with Hall of the Grandmasters unique map? Is it doable?

NO. There would take some serious rearranging that I do not care to do.
Tried it with 2 necros party, tried it twice solo. There is a master in each hallway that will not die. CI Max block with insane ES regen/leech. You will need a serious damage over time.
The funny thing is I didn't die either, it was a stalemate and I just left eventually.
Just buy a carry if you are going for atlas complete. I only did HoGM with arc trapper, he rip'd those fools, it was amazing!

So I am toying with the idea of swapping something and I would like WoD's take on it.
I am thinking of swapping Enfeeble for Vulnerability.
The maim is appetizing and we do mostly physical damage.
You think this would work Wod?
Or maybe I'll add a third curse and get some specters to do it for me :)

Ran T15 blighted map, lightly seasoned to taste, it was delicious!
Doing lot's of dying to intervention, spent the night in T15 because easy sustain and I don't care to fight a guardian every map.
Syndicate still wipes me on intervention, but I clean the safehouse no sweat.
So I got the 24, now I need the 25 for the totem.
Beating UE was my goal, but I am STILL having a blast and the game is as hard as you want to make it. Alch and go? NO. LOL, Alch and chaos spam for slightly better mods:)

Finally anointed a blight specific piece of gear last night! Got the boots with 150% move speed, gave them to my Assassin with Longshot anointed for Venom Gyre.
But he doesn't have his 186% movespeed boost from Elusive now so I may drop it, but the damn longshot is 40% increased at range... hmmmm decisions decisions... I also don't have a movement skill (because I use whirling blades) so the 74% decreased cooldown to movement skills doesn't help me either. Whirling blades says Travel, but it is always spammable, never saw it on cooldown before the boots.

Edit: Congrats PrincessOfAsgard! This was the build that turned the tide for me. When I ran this last year, everything just came together! This was the first time I actually had fun in the game and I made WoD my Wraeclast buddy for life! I gotta tell ya, the 3.8 improvements really amped this build up.
I think I started on 3.5 as well, but I was always missing something. I feel the 3.8 is smoooooth. But the zombies still want to follow mom everytime she gets too far away:) I gotta train those kids it's ok to keep killing stuff even when I leave for a bit!

I will wear your ghost and you will die twice, against me and for me.
That is some cold blooded shit to say...

As you said You can swap out Enfeeble and use Vulnerability with CWDT then use Diabolist for cursing enemies with Enfeeble. I run this build and a baron build and on my baron build I use the Diabolist and works real nice. Easy way to add a free curse if one is already using specters!

Actually, I have many times been told to bring a balefire scepter.
It grants Level 25 scorching ray. Plus 10% to beam length.
BEST part of scorching ray is NO HIT, just burning damage, perfect for Energy Shields.
Doesn't seem like it would be that hard to set up in a weapon swap.
I may try this tonight, I think I have a couple HoGM still in my tab.
Yeah, this sounds like a winner, up to 8 stacks of nasty DoT fire damage.
Plus it does exposure damage (-25% fire resist)so hit them with lightning and then scorch them to death with the EE triple dip! I would run the normal build until you find the immortal, then run away and swap weapons. If I remember right there were 2 immortals and they did not chase.
I kept running away and summoning zombies and specters, they seemed content just waiting for me to come back and try again :)

Balefire is 1 chaos... LOL! Priceless if it wins :)

Beware, there are scarier monsters than these 2. It's just that these 2 do not die easily. I think I did die a couple times fighting the other bosses, beware the scorching ray boss, he literally will melt you. Bring ignite immunity, and watch for what is killing you, equip those flasks on the next portal.
This is where you really want to KNOW where the limit for dropping skeletons is.
The Masters attack on proximity and will target minions, so get to the statues and then drop skeletons as far forward as you can until the bosses attack. If you run in, you're dead.

There are beasts at the top of the final stairs in each hallway, like 3 to 5 masters, perfect time for Vaal skeletons, and running around screaming "I'm gonna die!!" Good luck!

Remember the obvious and easily forgotten.
If you bring specters into an area, they will be in your desecrate pool.
Just unequip CWDT, desecrate to get your zombies and specters back. Reequip CWDT, take another shot at it. Minions will die fast, these are Grand Masters we are talking about.
I will wear your ghost and you will die twice, against me and for me.
That is some cold blooded shit to say...

I'd like to try HotGM again. I'm ready with some ideas of how to do this with this build.

I want to believe that setting up the untargetable/invulnerable minions with infernal army plus fire damage supports might help. i.e. holy relic, skitterbots, etc.

Use summon skellies and just leave the zombies, spectres, golems, guardian out of it altogether. They don't live long enough to do any good.

Zombie on!

Cool man, you do that, I'll try Balefire, report back with results!
Yes I was going to say let your minions die on that boss because then there will be no hits! So he can't recover ES and will slowly burn away until he flickers out :) I believe what makes them impossible is they leech on block, and they have massive leech.
yeah never bring a well invested guardian to HoGM, he will die :(

Edit: remember best strat is to use the build normally, it will destroy everything, then when you see there is 1 boss that will not die, switch to the different tactic. They seem to stop chasing as soon as you run far enough away and worst case, you can leave that hall since there are zone portals.

I've been flopping lots on the final two guide ideas (the current Scion one included). I was ready to write and finish the final guide when ExileCon crushed my intentions (in a good way). So with 38 ascendancies, I have to be less picky with min/maxing and more picky about what the cornerstone of each build is.

Slow-Mo Zombies? Easy, Temporal Chains and persistent minions that I don't have to go find.

RF? Also easy. RF Endurance Charges for life regen.

Cold-Hearted Curser? Also Easy. Curses, CI, Cold Damage. Also easy, Vortex is expendable.

Trigger Happy? Also easy. Max block and Counter Attacks. Bladestorm is expendable but is pretty perfect for me (with damage that stays on the ground like a DoT and the final ascendancy option.

The last two are tricky. I'm probably going to have to sacrifice my desire for a Max Dodge character and simply have a character with high-enough dodge instead. I know I've flopped on it lots, but I'm now thinking that my last two characters will be a ballista character (bow) and a friend buffer (auras and such)...the ascendancies will be short term until 4.0.

Decisions decisions.

Zombie on.

:) The Mighty PrincessOfAsgard! Good for you! I love that the 3.5 version is working great...ha ha...that's awesome. (I don't think your Violent Dead Jewels work anymore. I think they had their functionality removed from the game.)

Awesome job hitting your goals. I'm impressed as you love starting new characters and levelling so great job!
