Hi Wrecker_of_Days someone on another forum suggested me to try your builds, i would like to try the RF Incineration Chieftain, could you guide me into what skills should i pursue on A1-A3? i'm playing on XBOX.

Hey, princessmisery!

Pohx is amazing at RF. It's the only build they play as far as I know. They've honed their builds quite well. I hear they have a few options based on your budget too. You can't go wrong picking Pohx's stuff. In regards to my builds, I've had many people play them and 40/40 their leagues. They just needed the items to get there. I, however, have never, and will never 40/40 a league. But that's a skill and time thing, not a knowledge thing. So if you decided to go with my builds, you'd be capable of all content for sure. You just need the items to get you there (like all builds). The thing with 40/40'ing a league is that you need a crazy amount of personal time to do so. If you have that, you're on your way.

In terms of DPS, I never have a DPS goal. 3 million is much more than I get on any build with my gear and I'm very comfortable in my battles. I intentionally build my builds without seeing those types of totals so that I'm not distracted from the important aspects of the build I'm making.

My RF build is really tanky, but it has to suit your style. It relies heavily on being Stationary and Leeching. So that's something that has to suit your playstyle for sure.

I hope I didn't forget to answer any of your questions. Hopefully, this helped a bit.

You're very kind to say so <3. I'm happy to help :). You know, it's funny; I've never had a totem build. I've crafted one or two in the background before, but for some reason, it never went further than that. I don't know why totems don't appeal to me even though the playstyle is the same as a Skeleton build.

The RF Incinerator build works great with Holy Flame totem and Flame Wall. Both have alternate behaviours (console perk) that you can choose between to suit your style.

Levelling does require some patience as I do plan my builds around the league-start SSF experience. You'll be Int. starved at the beginning, so don't be shy to invest in an amulet while levelling or some of those +30 nodes. If you get a chance to use Incinerate, that'd be optimal.

Without gear, you should be able to sustain RF easily around level 50ish (after the second ascendancy).

I've crafted one or two in the background before, but for some reason, it never went further than that. I don't know why totems don't appeal to me even though the playstyle is the same as a Skeleton build.

What did you have in mind?

That's funny, because my friend is the same way and loves Skeleton builds; but he's never enjoyed totems. Whereas I love totems, but had a lot of trouble getting into Skeletons lol.

For me, I always really liked Frostbolt Totems. But you're the build master here, not me ;)

It sure does. What would be the bandits option? kill all?

Also, which is the order i should get the ascendency nodes?

Should i go to the keystones ASAP? if so in which order?

Just wanna make sure i have a smooth experience while leveling.

Ya, it's funny. I don't know why I've never clicked with Skeletons/totems. It's just one of those things I guess.

Frostbold Totems is great! I love it. I've also loved the idea of Flameblast totems, so fun.

But you do what makes you smile :). Haha! Build master. I wish, but it's not by any means. I just like to make try and make the skill I like, work for my playstyle.

:) Well, you'll learn the most by making the choices for yourself. Honestly, you can't really go wrong with any choice you make as long as you don't save all of the life nodes for last ;). But I'll tell you my preferences to your questions when I start as this at the beginning of the league.

I always kill all of the bandits.

I get the 100% Fire resist ascendancy first so I don't have to worry about gearing fire resist. Then I go for the ascendancy with the Endurance nodes. After that, damage and leech.

To make levelling with the actual passive tree easy, I simply go South first. I get all of the nodes I come across without skipping any. Then I start going North, again, not skipping any nodes. You'll be short some Int. So don't be scared to use the +30 Int. nodes temporarily, along with looking for some Int. amulets.

My process of ease does make things slow, but it's pretty stress-free...and, to me, totally worth it in the end.

Makes sense. So you go and get both Call to Arms then Unwavering Stance and proceed to get the adjacent nodes such as Bloodless and prismatic skin, then go all the way up doing the same i believe right?

I thought just shrug and get a +30 int with +30 int bonus amulet should be enough for a time and don't focus on any fire resist.

When you get up to Elemental Overlord, which path would you usually take? Towards Purity of Flesh or Heart of Flame?
