Um no, it would work the same way as a passive skill point book. You use the item and you get the point, it doesn't mean you have to use the point immediately...

A physical goods supporter pack would be a day one buy for me! I've been kicking myself to death for not getting it during the closed beta. My friend kept telling me to hurry up and grab it before time elapsed. Unfortunately, I was too late and didn't get it. In my defense, I was extremely busy at the time and had very little free time for gaming. That's just how life goes, but I've been hoping you might do another package!

Heck, I might buy two or three of them this time around if you offer them.

These are fair points, but maybe it's just a matter of GGG not knowing exactly what to do about these things at the moment.

And also, it's possible that the status ailments are supposed to be a downside of CI. My witch is just gonna have to stack as much ES as possible, and yes, be a little more gear dependent on things that dispel ailments.

Not sure of the accuracy of this info but I heard that back in closed beta, ggg was considering changing the stat that stunning and stuff relied on to str rather than HP itself. It would be less of a hassle than having to stack HP on a CI build I think.
