1000+ this!
Though already a silver supporter, I would definitely buy this, as long if it was big enough and well made :) (No china rubbish, no offense to china)

Gah! How dare you tease me! :)

Edit: I think it would be awesome to bring back supporter packs. Just because someone finds the game after CB doesn't mean that they wouldn't want to grab a sweet bundle pack and support the game. Also, new exclusive pets, forum titles, and so on for new packs would be sweet.

yes please and we want a calendar.

I'm not a fan of the Skill book.
It looks to me like an unecessary required action (I put it in the same bag than paying for repairs).
Plus I think the game really doesn't need to add the management of this "temporary" use of 2x2 space.

Its bad change for racers. Having to confirm was always bad, and this is even worse.

As a suggestion, maybe in the future (when you got time) you can change some mechanics for races, just eliminating the books and confirm (control click) only for races. I think that would be appreciated for many people.

Or maybe including this and others features in the options menu as a "starter help" or something like that, and each player can choose to change it, being activated by default just for helping new players.

True, though the passives confirmation is bypassed by ctrl-clicking, which is fine, this change does not seem to be possible to circumvent and in races is more annoying than anything else. This is also a strange change considering this game is tailored towards the races and rather the hardcore crowd of gamers than anyone else (which is not to say that this game shouln't be accessible easily, but it already is, imho).

And for me I have to ask: Gameplay-wise what do these books (passives and refunds) achieve?

1. They make the game slower.
2. They take up inventory space - but for like 1 second until you use it. (Because, really, why keep it? It takes up a lot of space, is most likely not stash-able/unsaleable and has no use other than the obvious anyway - unless GGG is planning on some recepies or other uses, which I doubt)

I vote for making this optional, too. Because I personally have no need for them.

Unless your inventory doesn't have the 2x2 free squares... then what happens ?
I would be interested in physical goods but not the normal fare of maps/t-shirts.
Weta workshop is in NZ right? if you could get them to make physical models of unique weapons or the characters i would be interested in buying something like that...though i realize that would be damn expensive.

If it works like with all other (itemized) quest rewards, you'll have to pick it from an offering window. If you dont take it (for what reason ever), it will still be available as untaken reward at the questgiver.

Will slow you even more bits down (for picking up the book), but I see no "other issue" with this behaviour. (And as said above, we would not complain about (not even notice) the slowdown if it would work this way since ever.)

Yeah, it's a quest item, you'll just pick it up later.

Don't really like this skillbook thing.

P.S. What happens if you place a Book of Skill into the map device?
