I add my voice to those asking for new supporter packs- even without kiwis it would be a great way to entice OB players to show their love for PoE.

Agreed. Though I played the CB long before it went open and should have supported the game by purchasing a bundle. I didn't, mainly because I didn't think my friends would be playing it, but i got my brother hooked on it and he can't stop playing, so I as well play it all the time now too :P.

In before all the racers complaining about the wasted time on having to click on the book of skill and then click to spend the skill point. Just like they did with the confirm skill point patch.

"Book of Skill"? sounds and looks nice!

To be not tradable is absolutely neccessary of course. Could slow the players down a bit in a race to have them clicked once more to activate...

and: could be a real issue if you did not want to spend them immediately: some of them in your inventory can easily occupy most of the space! Or did they stack? If not (or even when), can we get its size halfed (2*1 squares like the busts)??

(Same for the respec point item of course - or will the book of skill hold both types?)

I would love a t-shirt pack or some way for me to get t-shirts, thats the goods that I want, since it will not only be a great t-shirt but it will also advertise the game.

I expect you have still to confirm, since activating the reward and spending the point have absolutely nothing in common, are total different things...

I really hope that assigning the points is not bound to the activation of the book(s)!

And also one thing to think about. If assuming that the book as a quest reward could not be taken at once, then would you be able to take the reward for a quest of normal difficulty later, at merciless?
If so, this opens really interesting possibilities...

Great news Chris, and thank you for asking us for input.

I would love to see supporter packs return; hopefully the included goods will be different enough from the CB packs that the existing supporters will be motivated to step up again. Perhaps you could construct two different packs for each support level; one of which includes nothing from CB. Open beta supporters could be called "patrons" in their forum titles.

Its bad change for racers. Having to confirm was always bad, and this is even worse.

But no problem with that, if this was implemented from the real start, I think we even didn't notice or complain, because we would not have known how good is the race without having to make so many clicks. So cool addition, it will just require more annoying clicks, but who cares.


As a suggestion, maybe in the future (when you got time) you can change some mechanics for races, just eliminating the books and confirm (control click) only for races. I think that would be appreciated for many people.

Or maybe including this and others features in the options menu as a "starter help" or something like that, and each player can choose to change it, being activated by default just for helping new players.

Thx for the patch. And please, please let minions life visible again as an option from options pannel too. Summoners and double totems need it.
