Assuming you're trying to color Covenant, use Vorici in the research safehouse (or Vorici leading research in the mastermind safehouse). It's really the only reasonable way to get 5g on Covenant. Get it to 3-4g/3-2b and use 1to3 or 1to6 white socket crafts from the safehouse. You have a 1.5% chance of getting 5g1b off of 3g crafts at the bench normally, it's not worth it.

Its way better to use tainted chromas imo, they cost basically nothing. But vorici white is also decent option.

Looking at a calculator landing 5g1b with tainted chromes is something like 120 orbs give or take (using a regular chrome calculator with even stat weights). Tainted chromes are 2-3c, or like 70-80 for 1 div if you're buying in bulk, that's not nothing. Plus you need your robe to be corrupted. Getting Vorici in a research safehouse just takes some time and you're still getting other loot from your maps. I just respecced into the points at the bottom of the atlas tree that give a chance for extra Jun missions and extra syndicate reinforcements, went pretty quick.

Now if you've got a robe with a corrupted implicit that's a different matter, but Vorici still seems like the best option for a normal Covenant.
Hey thedeathbeam, what do you think about the version with Wilma's Requital Helmet?

You have to play pure ballistas with it so then you are either sacrificing clear speed or single target or both. Dont think the helmet is good enough to play pure ballistas with it when its so easy to just use 2 6 links. And SA ballista single target is quite terrible. So you would have to use like Siege or even CA (even though CA does way less damage than siege). And so your clear would suffer. If they ever fix SA then sure.

Some ideas of mine. (They might be bad)

+++
+1 projectile/gem on chest and 21 ballista to get 7 Ballista in total.
5 Mod Gloves (Dmg on leech&flask, Speed on Focus, Spell Sup, HP, Multimod)
Darkscorn with +1 Arrow or + Phys/Onslaught to fill gaps.
Timeless Jewel with Endurance Charges on kill.
Sanctified Relic with ghost dance/resolute technique to free up points or solve accuracy.
???
Stranglegrasp brick to rare.
Alchemist Genius on belt.
Remove Accuracy wheel and put it on Quiver/Take the + 400 accuracy Bow Mastery.
Megalomaniac with 3 good mods (most likely circling oblivion/ fuel the fight + XX)
Auls Amulet to refit malevolence/determination (pick grace its the cheapest and gives flask charges).

Getting corrupted Anathema with Despair (or something else useful) like I do on my char is pretty good as well, allows you to run blessing as well, even though its +1 button so sometimes annoying but easily 30% more damage from ring implicit basically :d

Hi guys!

Thank you for the awesome guide. I sold my freezing pulse totem gear and leveled a pathfinder with your guide and can't be happier! Awesome clear, very nice single target damage (besides the glass-cannon totems) and feels very tanky.

Besides the gear implicits and cap suppress (I'm around 86% I guess), what else can I improve in my build?

Thanks a lot again!!!

Glad you are enjoying the build. Def would recommend farming up for progenesis, its around 50% more max hit so massive survivability boost.

Also definitely try to cap your suppression by getting fractured supp on your glove and just recrafting that (I assume you crafted your current one with veiled orbs so that works just fine). Then obviously stuff like woke gems, lvl 21 grace and as you said eldritch implicits. Can also look for decent corruptions on anathema.

Also your gems in your SA links arent qualled, its important especially for Infused channeling (ideally you want this one as either 20/23 or 21/20 to reduce the time you get infusion).

Small build update:

- Replaced pure damage large with chaos damage + unspeakable gifts large. This is very noticeable when clearing and it looks like the extra damage from full dps large isnt super necessary
- Grabbed Primal Spirit on tree as some people were having issues with triggering all curses as the mana for them was quite tight, this solves that

For the squishy totems there is a medium cluster totem notable that makes them tankier...also I like going essences on my atlas when leveling and they aoe like mad, so until I can get the build up and running well I often go over to the panopticon passive group and grab ironwood too which helps. Basically, if the totems can survive a round or two of essence spam or a single boss' small attack(like the elder's frost attack) that makes a very big difference in your effective dps.

This is part of what I love about this build is there are so many ways to tweak the build to solve situational problems or preferences while keeping the core of deathbeam's build basically the same.
