Why hexbloom though?

Mostly because the focus mod autotargets and it can target add near boss so with hexbloom its guaranteed it goes to boss. And also its amazing for legion and expedition or just dense maps in general as it keeps spreading

EDIT: Im also probs gonna update the guide today or tomorrow and put hexbloom on the self cast despair too as that works rly well against frozen legion for example or simply when you need damage. And then replace Dash with Flame Dash because those 2 effectively do same thing (because GGG refuses to balance movement skills after they nerfed them all).

So as I said, small build update:

- Added Hex Bloom to Despair
- Replaced Dash with Flame Dash

definitely agree with this. flame dash feels better at basically every point in the game.

small question.. the silver and quicksilver can't be permanently sustained without killing, right? both of them eventually run out of charges for me in the new setup, whereas I can sustain bismuth & progenesis infinitely

Right. QS is just for clearing and Silver is half for clearing half for damage. So having around half-60% uptime on both is mostly fine. Also you get charges from hitting bosses so they actually have higher uptime than in pob against bosses, so its mostly fine. Just dont put any super important suffix like resistances on them (even though if you wanted to you can put res suffix on inc charge recovery quicksilver but that feels kinda bad)

Where are you getting that we get flask charges on bosses? I don't see anything in the build or gear that would cause that and we don't have any charge on crit flasks. If there's been a mechanics change to flask charges on bosses I can't find it on google anywhere. What am I missing?

Bosses grant souls and flask charges for x amount of % of life they lose, its base game mechanic. And it should scale with increased flask charges gained too I think.

By the way I am working on alternative setup with Voltaxic + LA + Inpulsa that is primarily clear speed focused, I am going to most likely try that this league, so here is early WIP version for anyone interested:

Main difference is just Voltaxic + Inpulsa instead of Darkscorn + Covenant, different links on siege (with woke added lightning), different helm enchant and flat lightning on quiver. And also 3 points for pierce on tree and EO relic, rest of the build is identical.

Huh, did not know that. The wiki doesn't mention it on the flask page, although it does mention the souls part on the vaal skills page.
