Water causing lag and graphical glitches

Window Fullscreen any body of water causing FPS and latency spikes in the realm of 200 FPS dipping down to 12. Coastal tilesets, Alva's temple in the water rooms, etc. Turning water quality to low alleviates the issue. Did not happen prior to Legion, no gfx driver updates in the meantime, no other settings changes.

So as of right now there is no fix for this issue? Has devs recognized this on their end yet? are we just talking to the wind here?

Had the same problem, FPS lag spikes whenever certain bodies of water are present, started since legion. My settings were windowed fullscreen 720p, but my monitor is 1080p.
Setting the game resolution to match my monitor fixed the lag. |

Well i never had any issues with The Brine King, sadley last night I lost a new lvl 52 witch there when my fps dropped to 2 and I locked up and got the respawn in Sc msg....
In game since Minotaur League..

Follow up that corrected my issue - somehow I found that my Desktop resolution and my in game resolution was different. So I made them both 1920 x 1080, just got back to the Brine King with my new Golemancer and had ZERO problems at all..
On to act 7 we go !!! In game since Minotaur League..

For me worked lowering water texture from High to low no issues at all.

i also randomly get this.. for example my league starter had no problems but then i rolled another one on Legion and it had the 100% GPU/1 fps on both, mud flats(after you click the wall) and on Brine king (after the water first starts clising in).. took like 35 deaths to finally beat it :P
i do believe that it has something to do with mtx (sadly my league starter is now deleted so cannot test) since i have the time, i might try to re-produce this on STD and even have these on video :P after spending 2 hours testing different characters/mtx's and skills.. i ramdomly got similar bug while entering my HO :O naked character(Katriina_V) on STD.. 1-3 FPS until my screen started blacking out, got one expection and then the game crashed. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/475815338 d:-D* Last edited by PyleWarlord#7248 on Sep 2, 2019, 9:55:10 AM
