Exception [Present]

I'm also getting Exception: Present crash everytime I run into Vorici in Research (Blight league).
I'm running a summoner build.
Ok I have found the source of MY ''Present'' crashes that were happening (which was randomly from level 2 onwards). The reason for constant crashes was my MTX and solution was removing the MTX completely. Now managed to reach even Act 2 without a crash.

Hope this can help out more people with same issue.

Edit: I was wrong. Still getting exception ''Present'' crash and now got new one called ''Map''...

I didn't read the whole thread but does any amd users having this issue i wonder.

I have notebook and when i switched to my integrated graphic card, I didn't get any error message.

Maybe situation related to nvidia gpus'
Yeah I am getting the same issue too.
Had it at a few points in the game, mainly with betrayal.

This time though, I had just done a legion monolith on Volcano. Getting that present error (terrible error handling btw) every time I go near the mobs that the monolith spawned.

I been going for 40/40 the last few leagues, but this is actually probs gonna stop me playing the rest of this league. Dying constantly to this crash is pretty annoying.

Hopefully they fix it.

Ill keep an eye on the patch notes, but considering people have been seeing it for ages, hopes aint too high.

BTW: Tried with VSYNC off and on, makes no difference

Got 3 crashes during betrayal and 1 during legion.
Night and day the streets resounded with music, song and the clinking of chalices and tankards, for it is well known that nothing is such thirsty work as the acquisition of knowledge.

Those screenshots show, that your graphics driver crashed and your GPU got reset.

It flushed all it´s memory so to speak, without data in the VRAM no graphical interface can be utilized.

GPU drivers usually crash, if there is some overheating issue, remember that the temps you get, are not the core temps, those are much higher than what is shown to you.
It could be that GGG is just so hard on your system, that it has to shut down, to not overheat.

Another reason could be, that your HDD or SSD is not able to progress the data required by the CPU quickly enough, so that the CPU will not be able to send new data to the GPU and if it doesn´t get new data, it will automatically shut down.

That´s often monitored when you receive "authentication failed" upon loading the game.

GGG has to fix this, there is nothing you or anyone can do. It will happen to all kinds of systems, there are little things in the code that can break the game. It can be as simple as a small texture of a beyond mob, which is somewhere hidden right at the end of your platter, not commonly used, so that it lacks out if you play beyond maps.

That´s also why you often encounter these issues with older content and not during the new stuff.

GGG has work to do.
I've been having the same problem since the start of the league, black screen monitor with no signal, i've tested 5 different nvidia drivers and it still happened.
Looks like the game crashes and it crashes the nvidia driver,on 436.02 driver my monitor goes black then recovers but on 436.30 latest driver i have to restart my pc.
It happened today too with the new patch,in the past 4-5 days i've been playing Borderlands 3 for 30 h and no problem.
Only fix for this problem with poe is to underclock my gpu(it's factory oc)
Without the underclock the black screen problem occurs within an hour, if i underclock by -250 mhz i can play no problem, temps are good 50-55c.
