Hello,

First of all, i would like to thank you for your build and explanations.
Great work !

Beside of this, there is one thing i cannot find out.

Why you use a 4-link item to bind these gems together :
Hatred - generosity support - stone golem - holy relic

I would appreciate if you (or someone else) explain me why, cause i can't stop searching :D

i'm almost new to PoE.

Sorry for my english.

And thanks again !

You are correct that a 4-link is not necessary. I believe that a four link in that situation is used simply because it can be used without interfering with the operation of the Stone Golem and Holy Relic skills. The natural setup is 2/1/1 with just the Hatred and Generosity linked, but it is so much easier just to four link instead of playing around trying to get the natural fitting 2/1/1 setup. Additionally, if one has already four-linked an item, there is no real reason to re-link it just to use in this Build.

I'm a noob player who started playing POE back at 3.5 and had a ton of fun. I came across your guide after looking for a different build for 3.7. So far at level 34, I'm loving the build and I'm having the most fun leveling up my character. Anyway, in one of your videos, I saw that you were using a charged dash. It looked a lotta fun and wanted to give it a try. What gems should I 4 linked with a charged dash? I'm thinking of taking this route as an alternative from using consecrated path.

Overall, thank you for making this build. It's my first time playing necro on POE and love the overall relaxing playstyle. It's perfect for me because I play SSF and I dont need to specifically hunt for a certain gear/uniques.
Hey gelliebean,

I'm really glad you're having a good time playing PoE! I'm happy to have helped. Thanks for taking the time to be thoughtful.

Charged Dash is awesome for this build. Before Consecrated Path and Cyclone were introduced/modified, Charged Dash was the best melee movement skill for me. CD still works great for the build.

To implement CD into the build, just replace the melee skill you're currently using. So have CD-Fortify-CoH-Enfeeble.

Good question and thanks for the thanks :).

edit: NVM! You already have it! You really thought of everything! But I have one question! Would a 6L Belly of the beast and a 6L queen's escape be good for this build?

Can you please post a skill gem leveling guide for us newbies. Which gems do we use to level and when is the skill gem progression from start to end?

I want to know this because I like using the skills that the build calls for right away/as soon as possible. I also like knowing the streamlined process for it so that I can enjoy the fancy new abilities as I level up.
Hey sighlight,

I didn't see what you edited out but I'm glad I've thought of everything ;). a 6 link Belly of the Beast would work well with this build yes. Queen's Decree/Escape would work well with this build for sure. You'd just have to make some gem link changes and likely cut something out. That's ok of course, but make sure you have some currency left over to play with until you find what you like best.

Skill gem leveling for this build is really easy. You get Zombies right at the beginning and Skeletons shortly after. So like you like to do, you'll naturally be leveling with the skills you'll end up using. You can use SRS (Summon Raging Spirits) until you get skeletons if you like. Those skills are going to be strong enough to progress you through the story and Atlas.

Does that answer you question? Let me know if not.

Hey Bonsoirdi,

You got a good answer from walkjohn55. I'm sorry to have made you search for it for so long. Only Generosity needs to be linked to Hatred.

Thanks for the thanks. I'm glad you're enjoying the build. I'm happy to have helped. And your English is fantastic.

Hey Everyone,

I made a couple changes to the guide. None of them important. And nothing you need to change to/from if you're following the guide to a "T".

-As I already posted, I added some new filters and tweaked the current one.
-I changed Consecrated Path to Any Melee Skill (though I keep Consecrated Path in there as a suggestion).
-I removed Desecrate from the CwDT1 3 link and replaced it with Purifying Flame for the Consecrated Ground it gives.
-For the sake of the AoE of the Consecrated Ground that Purifying Flame gives, I increased the CwDT taken level to level 2. (Spirit Offering's level stays the same).

Nothing major and nothing you have to change to unless you like the idea better.

I also made some tweaks in the guide. I didn't realize I still had a couple sections that had 3.6 in them, so I updated those.

Thanks for your patience!

Let me know if you find any errors or odd spots.

Thanks!

Thank you for this nice build. I'm currently lev 44 and it's pretty relaxing.
Regarding the recent changes. Does it make sense for me to switch to Purifying Flame if I use Consecrated Path?
Also, the link on Purifying Flame still points to Desecrate.
How important is the minion life support? Are zombies getting melted without and then with the gem they survive very well? Just wondering what the delta is.
