Technical Support (Path of Exile 1) - Japan g/w latency slowed down. - Forum

Hi, I enjoy the game from Korea via Japan gateway, which has 30 ms latency mostly. Kakao started 'Free open' service for Korean users a few days ago with Korean client program, I'll never use Kakao service and their client, though. After then, exactly, Japan gateway latency slowed down into 83~150 ms. What happened on N/W service on Japan G/W? Is it intended? Thanks. There seems to be some weird issues with the Tokyo route currently. The latency I'm seeing varies from ~80ms to ~300ms+. Moreover, the Tokyo endpoints are all over the place. Kellog, I appreciate all your research and analysis. I have a bad feeling about exclusive Korean service. Why do Koreans have to transfer into Kakao service irreversibly to use Korean G/W like no other 7 countries? Anyway, your post is helpful for me totally. Thanks again. The routes are still horribly broken: Initial login: 172.65.204.192 - ~130ms US/Cloudflare Login to Town 161.202.101.39 - ~35ms Tokyo/SOFTLAYER/GGG Move to hideout: 103.102.160.138 - ~200ms+ Tiawan/YardVPS Group LLC or 172.107.201.14 - 200ms+ - US/PSYCHZ-NETWORKS Any other instance changes thereafter remain on the latter addresses at ~200ms+ latency.
