This new weapon + Leper's Alm could be an interesting combination. You constantly absorb the ailments on your allies and deal them back out to your enemies. I feel there's some interesting effects with shock especially, depending on if shared suffering passes the ailments as is, as in shocking the enemies for the same effectiveness you've been shocked with. I admit I've never tired it though, so someone who has could correct me.

Too many are getting baited by the level 30 Smite. The real strength is for aurabots or helperboys to remove ailments from others.

Dude, it's called smite, it's gonna kill stuff. That's more than enough reason for anybody to be excited for it. Especially if it's the cliche pillar of light blasting shit, that is always so satisfying to use.

Edit: Especially with the buffs to summoner Templar. This would make a great active play summoner build.

Damn, didn't know this was coming as a skill gem. Makes the item a little less exciting. It's still cool though, since you can get a beefed up smite and don't need a 6-link to maximize it.

Edit: The other benefits of it being 30 are really good too, 25% less "less" damage, a good effectiveness increase, and it doubles the base damage of the lightning bolt.

Edit again: vvv Yeah, I just read that in the other thread then came back to check this out. That's pretty shitty, I thought it was a staff. Hype is dead for this weapon. Still wanna do holy necro though, it sounds pretty sweet.

No, you cant. Smite is attack, its dmg rely on weapon DPS. Not only this smite can be max 4L, weapon has ZERO DPS.

(unless you stack flat ele dmg, but you wont do it with such slow weaon + abyss jewels are reworked so it will be way harder to stack flat ele dmg now)
