will all Ascendancies get a rework or just certain ones?
not fan at all of these "on kill" charges
i think 10 charges is the maximum no ? so arena challenger is 20% attack speed and movespeed at all time, not bad at all.

But at the same time you nerfed the small passive by 1% attack speed so it's not so good.

I exepted more for the glad, i don't think i will try it as it is now

well frenzy gives more damage and increased attack and cast speed. this only gives you more attack speed and more movement speed.

but you're right, it seems pretty damn powerful especially compared to frenzy. be interesting to see more about challenger charges and whatnot.

as of right now even if it was just 20% more attack speed and 20% more movement speed - that is pretty fucking huge.
? This is basically identical aside from the challenger nodes

Edit: not that i'm really disappointed I think gladiator has been in a good place for ages, i'd just have improved the quality of life on the dual wield node/charge generation node.

As someone that basically only plays Gladiator i'm super disappointed.

The new node is good, but you didnt fix/rework any of the problematic nodes.



* Painforged is still just a crappy node-tax.

* Outmatch and Outlast is still on kill only, while basically all other ascendencies got options to sustain their charges reliably (why not something like 5-10% chance to generate a charge against unique/rare mobs with main/offhand ?)

* The whole bleedbranch is still mediocre and basically just a node tax for the bleedexplosion that on top of it has an anti-synergy build in with the rest of the tree (bleed explosion kills prevent outmatch and outlast charge gen, and while blind is powerful, it prevents all on block effects)


The Bestiary league proved once and for all, that GGG only listens to crying instead of well thought out criticism.
And thus did the Raider die peacefully in her sleep, conquered finally by the Gladiator of lore...

That said, this is kinda a lame revamp. Sure the Challenger Charges are powerful, but that's literally all you've changed (along with making the minor attack speed nodes global rather than 1-H specific).

And now who's gonna take the bleedsplosion path? Gladiator is gonna wind up just like the Slayer was even at his height - a one-note/path ascendancy.

Not to mention he still doesn't make Bleed itself any more viable, meaning if there's no changes to Bleed in the patch notes, then still no one's gonna play a Bleed build.

Outmatch and Outlast is also still on kills zzz.

He's stronger than before, yes. But he doesn't really do anything new or different compared to before. Contrast that with the new foci you've previously tried to open up on other ascendancies with their revamps (cold Occultists, summoner Guardians, non-totem Hierophants, Pet Pathfinders, etc.)

Hoped for an update of outmatch and outlast. Wtf is a challenger charge? Not entirely sure about this update yet.
I need something i can be "Glad" About :(
