An Update Regarding Delve and Betrayal Content
" Yeahhhhh this would be nice, to also know that they acknowledge that the lag is terrible. I would like to say that the lag is most definitely worse, as I am able to predict whether they are in the map without fail by looking at my fps and loading times(record so far was 59 seconds). I understand you have other things on your plate, but it would be nice to at least know they are aware of all the problems surrounding betrayal. It was a fun league, but only playable with tanky characters, and its pretty annoying to just be going through a map when suddenly you hear them come in, your game freezes, and then wouldn't you know it, you're dead without being able to do a thing. Currently I either just regard the map as dead and move on, or run the map until intervention comes along, at which point I portal out or log out(manually). |

so you scale down the scope and ambition of 3.7 in order to catch up with all the things. that was a good decision. but at what point will you actually catch up? i expect 3.7 to be a total bugfest based on this post.
and stop shielding yourself behind the "employee health" argument. the mess of the past two leagues is not due to your employees not working enough, it's management. |

If betrayal isn't fixed its gonna ruin the league for a lot of players again hurting this league just like synthesis. You have a few options to counteract it play a build over 14k+ es hit your flasks you will usually survive or play something like winter orb with tons of damage with holding down one button. But this takes away from what poe did differant to other arpgs we have so much variety in skills yet this failed content since it hasn't been fixed still. Is ruining the build diversity in the game. Over half of my friends list was offline couple of weeks into the league. New content is good for sure but fixing old issues should come before new content this feels a very lazy choice.

Are you guys at least going to fix the betrayal lag? I know my computer isn't the greatest thing ever, but I had literally zero problems during the betrayal league. None whatsoever. So why after the league is it that betrayal encounters fuck everything up? Worked fine in the league, so how'd you fuck it and could you please un-fuck it? I love this game, but it sucks hard.

While I appreciate the transparency this is still disappointing to hear. Dont get me wrong it's great that you guys look out for the health of the team and are committed to finding the right solutions instead of quick fixes, but with Betrayal as it is the game is borderline unplayable for me. I have an SSD and my PC is pretty good, and there was no issues before Betrayal. Just frustrating to die every intervention because I cant move for 30-40 seconds. Even sometimes when I zone into a map that has an Intervention lined up the whole zone is bogged down and has to take 15-20 seconds to catch up before I can even start playing the map. And then dying during the intervention itself on top of it. That and add in the fact that I have no choice but to interact with the mechanic, if I didn't have to then I'd simply skip it until it's fixed but unfortunately I cant do that. I love Betrayal, it's one of my favorite things you guys have done but it's really limiting how much I can play. Which sucks because 3.7 looks amazing but I know I probably wont play it as much as I'd like.
