An Update Regarding Delve and Betrayal Content

I like that you've acknowledged the health of the team as a reason for the delay. With so many stories about terrible crunch conditions at other developers it is good to see that maintaining a healthy team appears to be a GGG priority.
I get the impression that the three month release cycle is starting to constrain the quality and ambition of GGG
Was hoping for for a fix earlier, but I rather have a good fix than a rushed one.

Hopefully in 3.8 I'll be able to interact with the syndicate more on demand, and not see them so often when I don't want them. Or atleast that Intervention don't follow you through the whole map and even into boss rooms.

For delve I felt the fossil nerf at lower depth was abit too much, half of it would been fine, as that was what I enjoyed doing. But I'm fine with it, hopefully in 3.8 I'll get more sulphite to delve with, or that the cost is reduced some.

Anyway, keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to seeing those improvements :)
Pretty simple fixes I would think.

Masters: Don't allow any master content to spawn without talking to the masters first. In fact that would be a positive all around. People who are trying to grind out the Elder wont have to worry about being mugged by the syndicate or having the Niko daily moved from a T15 to a T1 because he spawned in some random map.

Betrayal would spawn more often if the only master you talk to is Jugs or Niko or whatever, that allows you more freedom to focus and play what you want to play than this complete RNG clusterfux it is now.


Delve: Just let characters share sulfite past level 70, not sure why that is so hard.

As far as betrayal lag, never had any until it was patched Ad nauseam, and volla! Same with the minions beating on Jorgin after he is dead, now its Jorgin and a couple of others as well, again never had a problem until you knee jerk patch again and again so yea, take some time and figure this crap out, you don't have to like it, just have to do it.
So many scrolls, so little time...
I would go further and make 3.8 the quality of life improvement league.

Do something like a flashback with extra stuff,everything that has ever been in this game till 3.8,or something in those lines.

I rather have no new league and have pretty much all the complaints addressed,than have another league that will take weeks,even months to fix,have further delays for fixing previous issues, promising that maybe in 4.0 or 4.1 they will be fixed...etc,etc.

You guys overextended yourselves with this new league every 3 months, and it starts to show. Constantly pushing out new content while sacrificing quality, might not be the best idea.

Thats nice to hear.
I mean the point where you decide to slow down a bit, concentrade on something, take care of your health.
no matter the state of the game, if you rush at any point it becomes synthesis.

Damn betrayal content!! I don't play already during 3 months coz of deadly screen freezes (syndicate members appearing) and now i have found out that i should wait next 3-4 months.
i cancel playing this game.
Easy fix
Upon entering a map Jun appears
"Exile! I've found an artifact blah-blah-blah. This artifact will reveal locations of any Syndicate installments on your map. But there's drawback: Syndicate would be able to track you and be better prepared for your actions, Should we use it?"
Yes (reveal Syndicate fortifications, labs and caravans on the map. Syndicate will try to intervene you)
No (You have to find all Syndicate installments by yourself. Failing any encounter leads to any other Syndicate activity in this area to be abandoned)

I think what GGG must do is to let players customize their game experience by giving them more agency (as POE what meant to be). They mustn't force them to do content they hate because game mechanics are locked behind, and the best way for curing this aspect is to make scarabs drop as normal currencies like transmutation/scrolls or whatever. Because every player could almost never run out of them (for almost all kind of scarabs lets say), they would have the possibility to customize their experience as the one they enjoy the most by puting them in the map device. They love a specific league mechanic ? Let them use a scarab which makes the master related to it spawn almost as often as they want, so they can farm this part of the game and enjoy themselves ! I know it's the opposite of what the game is becoming, but I'm convinced that it's this way the game is taking which make people upset (including me bit by bit). Being forced to do things you hate in a game which yet put the biggest emphasis ever made around the customization is kinda contradictory in my point of view.


If you're worried about the trade aspect, remember that if every single player can never run out of scarabs he'll almost never have to buy any. I do think in POE the trade system has to adapt to the game, not the other way around !
this is good. don't rush things and think about the health of the team!
and i hope synthesis does NOT make it in core... but i fear the decision
has already been made.
