Hint: Quit talking so much about consoles. Most of us don't care.

There needs to be something "just short of high end crafting" that can be made accessible to all. The gap between "crap" and "wow" is too wide.

I appreciate the time spent here but this does suggest either an inconsistency or flat out lie in the Update by Chris post.

You can't do more because you are time limited?

But time has nothing to do with trade, with delve, with forcing league mechanics, and on and on and on. You don't improve those because you don't WANT to.

The simple truth is not that you are too busy, but that you don't listen to players, and I doubt you play your own game.

Not having a trade market might be all well and good for american's, try do it in an australian time zone, its a nightmare.
GGG being kiwi's should understand this but they do not seem to give a damn about anyone outside of peak timezones.
I have spent FORTY FIVE MINUTES trying to get one map more than once.

It has been 18 months since you posted the Trade Manifesto. Do you still stand by it?

This question prompted a long discussion. Many hours of senior developers talking about trade. Our conclusion was: Yes, we do stand by everything we wrote in the manifesto. We are not adding a Trade Market to the PC version of Path of Exile.



Thank You for answering this, it makes me choosing to not play any longer so much easier. Great game, but sick and tired of the archaic trade system, every league trading just makes me cringe more and more.

Did you really not see that that would cause problems when you then put on a tame rather boring and not worth starting over in Flashback race? Are you that unaware of your playerbase?

You can release big Q&As and statements from Chris as much as you want but if you keep pushing out hype based on things you never intend to do then you are just doing the game and yourselves harm.

Do you have any plans to make sustaining maps less tied-up with past league content like Betrayal, Delve and Incursion?

We have two options. We can either make it so that you don't get maps during past league content (and buff the non-map rewards), or have some reliance on those systems for providing map drops.

Because people tend not to play content that doesn't have map drops, we picked the option where league content drops maps.


You have a third option and balance the map drops around people not doing that content, and then also give that content more map drops. Why is it so important to make it hard for people to attempt content? There is no good reason maps shouldn't rain from the sky!

Clear speed and halfway decent builds are not the same thing at all. The only ones of these that are in any way clear speed related are Incursion, and maybe Breach just a little. The rest just require solid rounded builds.

Oh god yes this, Crafting in POE very often falls in the polar extremes of usable only by people with dozens of Ex to throw around, and not worth bothing with. Not Entirely - Essences, Fossils, and Fractured items all offered some decent middle ground options.... But Synthesized items was a huge offender... it's crafting system required super expensive annuls at all levels, which means low and mid-tier crafting with it was just off the table entirely.
OFC method now has their shit bearing hands in poe with a "team" fuck method and foch their team.. Hope they lose every race.
