An Update from Chris

I'm a programmer, in reality, I'm currently a project manager.
So, I say with propriety, one thing I like about GGG is precisely the transparency with the clients / players. Now, I add one more reason, which is the concern for the health of your employees. Software development is not easy, development games, it's "worse".
I trust your work, and I hope it stays that way, and at least from my side, I know how complicated and difficult it is, and even with Synthesis not having liked everyone, I know the company's commitment to do better.

You cannot maintain the hectic pace while not working too much OT. Something has got to give here. The state of the game now tells you all you need to know.


Slow down or hire more people to share the workload. Clearly the way it is now is not working.

thanks for not letting synthesis go core, it was the first league in the last year that i quit 2 weeks in, so for me it was worse then bestiary :P

I feel obliged to login and give a thumb-up to Chris for maintaining Work/Life balance for GGG developers.
That paragraph alone, and the philosophy behind it, is well worth the bucks I've tossed for this free game.

There's no need to repeat myself about how disappointing Synthesis has been.
But I do believe that more timely and frequent communications to the community, instead of admitting the mistakes after two months into the league, will be very much appreciated.
Looking forward to 3.7 and 4.0, as well as how well GGG has learned from Synthesis.

Thank you much for addressing the questions and such.

It's posts / focus like this that let me know I will interesting in keeping playing (even if 1 league is an off for me due to personally not liking the mechanics, etc) but I know the next league may hold something awesome that I want to try out!
