An Update from Chris

This is a very transparent and courageous post.
Obviously, there are several issues, but it's finally not a big deal. Path of Exile, in general, is one the best games, actually.
I'm a little disappointed about Synthesis not be added to the core game, but it's understandable.

Also, I'm very especially satisfied you refuse to have crunch-time. This is a big, real, problem with the actual video game's industry. And the fact GGG doesn't give in to this easy but outrageous method is sufficient to accept all the delay you need.

Thank you for your honesty and keep that way.
Chris,

Thank you for this open and honest post. It is comments like this that keep me comming back league after league and supporting you wholeheartedly and keep trying to convince others to join the band wagon.

Keep of the hard work!

Always good to see Chris absorb all the sins of his game developers with a single post.

Then he was crucified, and on the third day he rose again...

Hmmm...sounds familliar

But the difference here is that one was a poor pleb and one is now a rich man. Chris will be just fine regardless of what happens to the game or the company, but you still have to respect the man who continues to be the punching bag for the community.

Happy with Synthesis and Betrayal content, please dont remove it

Is not the obvious solution to HIRE MORE DEVELOPERS!

Found the schmuck who's likely never run a company, in any industry.

Cheers for the openness and communication, Chris.

P.S.: I absolutely love this line -

I will not run this company that way.

So blunt and forthright. <3

I have run a company. He is right to not to put GGG employees under too much duress but in the same breath admits to having too many projects to complete, so my solution, and it is an obvious one, your irrelevant post notwithstanding, is to hire more developers.
Keep surprising, as they always did. is full of people who believe they know how to carry forward the development of a game, do not listen to them. Just keep being yourselves, it's the only way to keep the spirit of poe alive.

thank you for so many hours of entertainment, for FREE!
I personally enjoyed the league... made a good sum of currency and preferred it over Delve.

GGG still a top of game. Thumbs Up
Keep up the good work, guys! Yeah, this league is a little 'meh' for a lot of players, but we respect the fact that you don't make your employees work like slaves, tons of hours per day. We know a company that did that and is now literally dead.

What exiles? Do you not have some respect for GGG?
It's all good, Chris.

No matter what happens, I will stand aside on Path of Exile until my death bed.

no single Free ARPG beat you guys down or can even try to get what you and your team achieved so far.

I will support you guys and I will sink another 10 years into PoE.

This game has become part of my life and I appreciate for the endless fun presented by GGG.

Stay Strong, Still sane Exile.
I understand you want to please everyone but it's not possible.
I understand you want to avoid long time between two leagues but maybe it would be better...

Take the time you all need to do a perfect job :)
(job which is close to perfect, no matter of trolls think.)

And last but not least : don't focus on hardcore players. Normals players exist ! :D
And maybe they're more numerous than you think :p
