What? This is a thing? I was not aware of this.
The very least they can do is return items were proof is shown. Anything less of that is just unacceptable. And that is not an over-reaction.
This is a paid service at that point. And 14 bloody euros for my tab (was late to the discount 1 day and can't be bothered waiting for it to pop up again) is ridiculous as it is but to also eat up items and the devs to further not reimburse the players in any way is like i said, plain ridiculous. Starting to wonder what their approach is to paying customers at this point... Cattle for milking?
Sure isnt acceptable by any means. At the very least if they dont want to fiddle with accounts and with item returns for technical reasons they should reimburse players some of the points spent to buy those non-working tabs.
I'm shaken now... Gonna keep using the tab cause I bloody paid for it, but the idea alone that something could up and disappear is not a welcome thought at the very least.

Yep. Now whenever I drop a unique into that tab, I will fear that it might go poof.

No news from GGG about this one. Is this still a thing ? I'd like to buy a unique stash tab but i'm a bit afraid to do so if i can lose my items putting them into it. Any update from those who reported this issue ?

If this is true, GGG really fucked up. I am not going to censor this. No way.
This is a PREMIUM tab that is SOLD for points that you pay for with REAL money. If items are lost and cannot be taken out of it, it's not working as intended and thus is subject to claims and refunds.
